My Search

I

Into the mystic realm,
I let my mind take flight,
Over stone strewn highways,
I search the endless night.

I was the Wanderer,
Looking for a goal,
And the Seeker,
Searching for my soul.

I walked the roads of idle fancy,
Paths of material delight,
Stumbling over stones of vain imaginings,
In my search for the light.

A voice deep within me cried:
"Here doesn't lay your goal,
Upon these darkened pathways,
You'll never find your sou."

II

Into the mystic realm,
Again my mind took flight,
Over well traveled highways,
I search the misty twilight.

I was a Seeer,
Seeking an unknown goal,
And a Stranger,
To my own soul.

In this realm of half-light,
I strolled the roads of tradition,
Picking my way carefully,
Through the shadows of superstition.

Still from within came the cry:
"Not in this realm is your goal,
Upon these half-lit pathways,
You'll never find your soul"

III

Into the mystic realm,
Again I took flight,
And walked the paths,
Where God has shed His light.

I walked the hallowed highways,
Trod by the Prophets of old,
Strolled the ancient paths,
Strewn with nuggets of pure gold.

This is the wondrous realm,
Where all paths become one,
This is the glorious land,
Illuminated by God's sun.

Through the Word of God,
I have found my soul,
In the Messenger for this age,
I have found my goal.

Immortality
December 30, 2018 at 1:04pm
Immortality I am the atom eternally evolving. An atom ascending, through composition and decomposition, the degrees of matter. I am the water always flowing. The water breaking against the embankments of creation overflowing from the pools of spirit. I am the flame forever burning. The flame consuming in its adoration the passions of existence. I am the light continually shining. The light dispelling the darkness of separation and uniting the components of life. I am... [Read more]

1 Purity Defined Purity is the freedom from corrupting elements. Is this achieved by withdrawing from the world? The way to achieve independence is to live in society. Freedom doesn't come from withdrawing! The only thing that comes From receding from association is loneliness. Corrupting influences can be found even in monasteries. Elements that contaminate are everywhere! 2 Search The door closed tight to everyone Save seekers of the truth I opening no... [Read more]
Poems Dedicated to Robert Hayden
August 16, 2018 at 9:53pm
Bird Song: To Robert Hayden "He became an adherent of the Baha'i Faith when he was a young man and remained true to it." From a Literature Text Book On the boughs of the Tree of Life the Nightingale sings, His voice echoing beyond the gates of paradise. Rising and falling, like currents of air in a hurricane, His melody invites humanity to enter the garden. Some don't hear the Nightingale's song and walk past the gates of salvation. Some hear the ... [Read more]

Victory Poems
April 10, 2022 at 8:09pm
1 Victory's Price True victory can only be achieved through sacrifice. 2 The Victory To win the victory we must daily struggle through resisting brambles and vines that block our way, that pull us down, and continually hold us back. To win the victory we must hourly plod up mountain paths strewn with stones and pit falls, through obscuring clouds to the unseen crest. 3 Success To attain the object of her quest; The seeker must never rest, ... Outside Myself
June 4, 2018 at 11:12pm
Outside Myself: Meditation on Detachment Speak! My silent companion. Speak! The words you overheard, that phrase that takes me out of self, and lets me fly like a bird. What! You say there is no such phrase! How do I free myself, become detached from matter's chain? You must forget yourself! You must step outside yourself, become separated - separated from the problem and the results - or remain incarcerated. If you're emotionally attached, to either messenger o... [Read more]

Opposites love: female and male, positive and negative, existence and nonexistence, enery and matter, diversity and unity become symbols of spiritual evolution, and progressive revelation, as concepts of divinity merge into a single essence. {dropnote:"Poet'...
