Wonderful poem that links footprints to bits and pieces of our memories over the years.
As we get older, we do leave a mark behind - footprints if you will - and even as they fade away, they'll always linger and be a reminder of what we once were.

my daily breakfast treat
no please do not say “Fooey”
it’s what I like to eat
so early in the morning
before the sun has riz
(I know it’s slowly dawning)
my Chewy bar’s the biz.
