This choice: "How about we grow your arms?" • Go Back...Chapter #6"How about we grow your arms?" by: scriptboy Jared was lounging in his room, scrolling through memes on his phone, blissfully unaware that Drew, his best friend and self-proclaimed "teenage wizard," was up to no good. Drew had discovered his peculiar ability to alter Jared’s physical traits from afar, and tonight, he was feeling particularly mischievous.
Closing his eyes, Drew focused on Jared’s lanky arms. "Let’s give him some guns," Drew muttered, grinning. Back in his room, Jared felt a strange tingling sensation. He glanced down and gasped as his arms transformed into thick, muscular limbs that would make a bodybuilder jealous.
"What the—?" Jared stammered, flexing his new biceps. He decided to leave his room to show his mom, but as he grabbed the doorknob, his newfound strength betrayed him. The knob bent like it was made of playdough.
Panicking, Jared froze. That’s when he heard Drew’s laughter echoing in his ears. "Enjoy your new look, buddy!" Drew’s voice teased.
"Are you messing with me again?!" Jared shouted, his voice cracking. He tried to open the door, but the mangled knob wouldn’t budge. "Drew, fix this! My mom’s gonna freak out!"
Drew, still in his own room, laughed harder. "Nah, I think you should keep it. You’re finally swole!"
Jared groaned, realizing he was stuck with his new arms—and a bent doorknob—for the foreseeable future. "I’m coming for you, Drew!" he yelled, flexing his muscles. But deep down, he couldn’t help but admire his new physique. Maybe being Drew’s guinea pig wasn’t so bad after all.
