Megan headed home confused, not knowing what to do with all this. What would she write in her diary? Would she be in trouble? The best thing was to get home without saying the word that would make her small, a word that luckily wasn't widely used; only initials were used; which luckily didn't have the same effect on her.
At home, she greeted her parents and sister, with whom she had a good relationship, and wondered whether to tell them about her new power... condition? ability? She didn't know what she had gotten herself into; she thought it would just be some simple product testing, not that they would give her the option to shrink.
Megan went to her room for the moment without saying much, only that she had gotten some money for college. Then she started pacing around her room, thinking about how to describe what had happened, and if so, how she would describe what had happened. It would be very difficult to explain what she was now capable of without being considered crazy, like a game. She was also worried about her parents' reaction and whether this would make them worry about what had happened.
Megan wrote several of these thoughts in her journal before trying to shrink again; she also wrote the words to change her size on the first page in case she needed them. After a couple of minutes, Megan was ready to return to her small state. She just had to make a decision: whether or not to tell her sister what would happen. If she did tell her sister, she would just have to call her into her room so she could help her with anything. If she wanted to keep it a secret, she would have to find a way to get her out of the house to avoid problems.
