Gryphon nuzzles his two daughters, gently scratching their necks with his beak. They coo in turn beginning to follow him excitedly as he searches the nest, soft comfortable moss and the scattering of egg shells.
Sniffing the air it's dense with his mates scent, and grows stronger in the wind. She left recently, probably in search of him or to provide for their hungry chicks.
He crows deep from his throat, and his calls are soon answered. After a few minutes of waiting she returns, a large gryphon hen covered in fluffy cream feathers and a snow leopards behind.
The pair exchange an affectionate cuddle, scratching each others neck affectionately. He chirps stretching and rising his neck above her, she responds by lowering hers looking up directly into his maw before opening wide.
The male croaks and snarls, his throat muscles contracting as he pulls one of the dragons from his crop.
Spyro crushed beneath muscles and stones struggles fruitlessly as he is pulled away from Cynder still trapped. For a second, he is relieved feeling the cold frigid air hit him as he is thrown over the horizon of the Gryphon's tongue. Maybe their struggling had finally upset the Gryphon's stomach. Surely Cynder would soon follow. The ordeal was almost over.
Spyro eyes widened at the encroaching light, then shrieked and panicked as his destination came into view proper. Another beak this one larger than the one that claimed him.
Sadly for him he no longer had any choice in the matter and with a cough he was thrown forward into the females gullet. She snapped her beak shut swallowing down Spyro.
The pair cooed and attended to each other for a moment as they considered how to best use their prey.
