As she pondered the oddities and changes that the remote made to reality, Sarah then heard the sounds of someone coming up the stairs. Seeing as the only person downstairs at the time was Mrs. Martin, Sarah thought about avoiding any awkward confrontations with Ryan's mom once again. Being at the end of the hallway, however, Sarah knew any hiding would just be suspicious. Not that she had any time to do so anyways, as Mrs. Martin then appeared at the top of the stairs.
"Ryan being difficult again?" Mrs. Martin asked softly as she approached Sarah, quiet enough so that neither Ryan or Ashley won't make out what they were talking about without deliberate eavesdropping.
"Yeah, you know how he can be." Sarah replied.
"Ashley always did take after you more."
"I'm glad about that at least."
"He's a teenager, he'll grow out of it. The two of you are way more similar than he would like to admit." Mrs. Martin continued
"I guess so, hope sooner rather than later though."
Mrs. Martin then gave Sarah another kiss. "Well, if you want to forget about the kids for a moment, dinner is in the oven and we have a bit of time..." Mrs. Martin suggestively said.
"Well..." Sarah weighed her options, seeing Mrs. Martin stare straight into her eyes lustfully. "I can't say no to you." Sarah replied, deciding not to spoil the clearly good relationship Ryan's parents had. Grabbing Sarah's hand, Mrs. Martin gently began leading her to the master bedroom. At this point, Sarah was glancing at Ashley's door, and saw that she could still swap her way out of this situation. Quickly taking out the remote...
