"Oh I know, why don't we go to the zoo together?" Anna suggested.
"Oh that sounds like fun!" Zoe said excited.
"Yeah let's go to the zoo," Kaylie giggled.
"I'm down," Christina smiled.
"Alright yeah sure, that could be fun," Cam finally responded.
"Then that's settled," Anna giggled.
The group quickly grabbed their stuff and got ready. Luckily there was a zoo not too far away so it was easy to just head on over. Christina made sure to have keys and that no one was forgetting anything before heading to the car. The ride over was pretty uneventful aside from everyone talking about what animals they were excited to see. Cam always did like the monkeys since they were always so active and fun to watch swing across their enclosure.
After a not too long of a ride they finally arrived at the zoo. Everyone seemed excited about seeing the different animals and Christina already needed to slow everyone down to not immediately get split up from everyone going in different directions and just running to the first thing they see.
Once the group was through the entrance the first enclosure they were met with a very nice flamingo enclosure with a very large population. You could get a good view from a raised area overlooking the pond and the bright colors of the flamingos always looked great. There were even quite a few of baby flamingos walking around as well.
"Aww look at the babies," Anna said pointing them out.
"Oh they are sooo cuuute," Kaylie giggled.
"There's a lot of them too," Cam noted.
After observing the pink avians, Cam noted it wasn't very busy today, which was nice. As they made their way over towards the next enclosure, the chimps, Cam already got excited.
The chimp enclosure had a lot of climbing enrichment for the apes and they were monkeying around with each other just teasing and having fun.
"They remind me of you Cam," Christina joked.
"Hey, well maybe sometimes," Cam smirked taking it in stride.
"Well you are both fun," Kaylie giggled.
"That is debatable," Anna joked.
"Very funny," Cam rolled his eyes but nudged her playfully.
