You're Dan, you're 5'10" Caucasian guy with short brown hair and a a few days stubble on your face. You keep your neck and cheeks shaved but keep the stubble on your jaw line for a very very short looking beard.
You've been getting back out there into the dating scene and things have been going alright. A few hits and misses, but you've matched with this one girl and you're on a date with her now.
It's more of a causal get coffee and hang out in the small business area of town. You grabbed a black coffee and your date, Jessica, a 5'7" Caucasian woman with medium length straight black hair grabbed a coffee drink with at least a dozen descriptors on it.
After a bit of chit chat you two decided to browse the local shops. There's a few thrift stores, an independent music store, a couple of art supply stores, about a dozen or so restaurants and you've found yourself in a used book store.
You know you're in a good book store when you know if an earthquake happened you could be buried under books because they're stacked to the ceiling and has that old book smell to it. It's probably only organised to the guy who runs it and he probably hates working here. You know you're going to find something interesting. Sure enough it's the Omnomnom-icon.
"Hey Dan, check out this book," Jessica says holding up a really thick black leather bound book with what appears to be steel writing nailed to the thick cover.
"Omnomnom-icon..?" you say reading the text on the front of the book.
"Is that what it says?" Jessica asks looking at the front cover again," Looks like gibberish to me."
She hands you the book and continues to browse. You look at the book in your hands and there's a strange energy to it. You can't quite put your finger on it. It's the same feeling like you're trying to balance yourself and walk on a narrow path without falling yet hungry at the same time.
You decide to give the book a look at least.
You find a table of contents and decide to flip to the page...
