Korra was in the Republic city Soda Shoppe, trying to take a break from Avatar training and be a normal teen for once. She noticed a group of kids getting ready for a chugging contest at a nearby table and asked if she could join in. Without waiting for an answer, the cocky Avatar used her water bending to pour a a huge amount of soda into a cup. She used this same bending to send it into her mouth the minute the contest started. "BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP! Korra proceeded to bend all the soda in the place into her mouth. Her belly swelled up to nearly three times it's size and she belched again. This time it wasn't very loud, much to the Avatar's dissapointment. "Ugh, that was weak! I could do so much better." Korra turned to the amazed teens and grinned a cheeky grin. "So, what do we do next guys?" One of the teens fainted in response.
"That was so Cool!" One of the girls in the group gushed after a moment. "Can you teach me how to do that?" "Do what?" Korra asked, slightly confused. "Belch like a champ, that's what! I'd love to win a contest just once with my brothers."
The other girls, and even a few of the guys nodded in agreement. Each one shared a desire to improve upon their belching skills for various reasons. Korra was actually flattered by the attention. Who knew one of her crudest talents could help her make friends? Maybe she should show off her farting skills as well? "Okay, I'll do it! But what I say goes, got it?" They nodded.
"Then let's do this!" Korra began her lesson by guaging the group's current talents. Each one belched as well as they could and the Avatar rated them. The highest score was "10", though only a handful actually did that well. "Not bad, but you can all do better. Can any of you do this?"
