This choice: Time Runs Out While Rubbing Ruby's Feet • Go Back...Chapter #8Time Runs Out While Rubbing Ruby's Feet by: Haro-Haze   "What!?" Kara asked, assuming she'd misheard Ruby's embarrassing request, almost taking it for a joke.
But Ruby was completely serious. She'd just used her idol as a seat cushion, so rubbing her feet would be a pretty pleasant experience in comparison from her point of view.
"Did you're shrinking reverse the polarity of your Super-Hearing or something? I said I want you to rub my feet." Ruby explained, still panting from all the running around she'd done earlier.
"Ruby, you can't just... Ahh!" Kara started to argue. Before Ruby's hand tilted to the side, dropping the tiny Girl of Steel atop Alex's coffee table.
Kara landed on her ass, which helped break her fall as she rolled back onto her shoulders, sitting up just in time to see Ruby fall back onto the couch. The memory of being trapped under her butt made even Supergirl wince as she watched the preteen girl's butt sink into the cushion.
Then...
*THUMP!! THUD!!*
Ruby's bare feet landed in front of Kara, towering over our shrunken heroine like twin skyscrapers covered in a thin veil of sweat and dirt her soles had picked up off Alex's hardwood floors.
"Well, don't just look at them. Start rubbing already." Ruby demanded playfully, scrunching and flexing her toes outward as she ordered the blonde Kryptonian to get to work on her feet.
"Ruby, this is crazy! Your feet are gigantic. It would take me forever to rub those things." Kara declared in defiance, not wanting to play along with Ruby's request for a foot rub.
"That's not my problem. It just means you'll stay small for a few weeks. I'm not issuing any more challenges until you finish rubbing my feet. And don't forget, I won't help convince Alex to return you to normal if you can't beat me in any game I choose." Ruby smiled, knowing she had Supergirl trapped.
"But... But I..." Kara stuttered, actually speechless.
"Unless you'd rather go back under my butt, the couch just isn't as comfortable without you between me and this cushion." Ruby teased, wiggling her butt in her seat as she stared down Supergirl in front of her feet.
Kara backed up in fear of going back under Ruby's butt, which would be even more humiliating than being forced to rub her feet. She almost considered flying off and hiding from Ruby until Alex got back.
"And don't think about flying off either. We both know I can catch you now and then you're really not going to like what I'll have to do to you." Ruby threatened, forcing Kara to swallow her spit nervously.
"Fine." Kara hung her head in defeat. Approaching Ruby's right foot first, the lingering scent of sweat and coconut body wash worked its way up her nostrils as she laid her bare hands on the 12-year-old girl's slightly damp heel.
"See, that wasn't so hard now, was it?" Ruby teased, leaning back with the remote in hand. And just like that, her "Training" for Supergirl continued. Even rubbing her feet was part of the routine she had for Supergirl.
She got the idea from an old movie she watched with Alex the other night called "The Karate Kid".
However, instead of painting a fence and waxing cars, she planned to have Kara rub her feet and do other chores for her until she was strong enough to take down anyone. Even Reign, if Alex couldn't beat her.
It did require her to be a little rough with Supergirl, both verbally and physically, but it was worth it to help make her idol even stronger. Plus, it was really fun to boss her around.
"Come on, put your back into it." Ruby wiggled her toes as she came across a new movie on Jetflix, "Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken", a story about a Kraken sharing her name, living in disguise as a human, discovering she can transform into a 300-foot-tall giant Kraken.
"This looks like fun." Ruby thought aloud, clicking the play button while Kara continued to massage her foot, using both arms as she tried to find the right way to interact with the boulder-sized heel.
"Really get in there, Supergirl. If you take all day, then you'll be rubbing my feet for weeks. After school during the week and after soccer on the weekends." Ruby laughed at the thought of Supergirl before being forced to massage her sweaty soles.
"And I sweat a lot doing games. Maybe I should drop you in my cleats during one, and you can find out firsthand how much I sweat. You can help soak some of it up for me." Ruby joked. Although she was seriously considering it now that the idea had escaped her lips, giggling as she curled her toes over Supergirl.
"No way am I doing that!" Kara said, fueled with a new determination of not being used as Ruby's alien insole, using her full body weight now to knead and press into Ruby's foot, catching the giant girl off-guard.
"Wow, you really kicked it up a notch. Wonder if something I said helped motivate you." Ruby smiled proudly. Her plan was working perfectly. Alex would be so happy to see her helping Supergirl train.
"Giant brat," Kara muttered under her breath, thankful Ruby didn't have Super Hearing.
*Click*
"Oh no, don't tell me!" Kara thought to herself as her super hearing detected the familiar footsteps coming down the hallway, the distinct rhythmic clunk of hefty boots banging on the hardwood floors.
"Hey, I don't remember telling you to stop." Ruby barked down at Kara as she turned towards Alex's front door across the room, alerted by the sound of a key turning against a door-locking mechanism. The preteen's foot fell on Kara's back as Ruby's toes pinned Kara face-first against the coffee table, allowing her just enjoy maneuverability to lift her head in time to see her sister Alex opening the door.
"Ruby, Supergirl! I figured you two might be getting hungry, so I brought you pot-stickers for lunch." Alex announced, dropping a bag of food on the kitchen countertop on her way into the living room.
It was over.' Ruby would never help her convince Alex to let her go back to normal now. If only Alex didn't come home so early. She could've beaten Ruby in something. But it was already too late.
"Oh, what are you two doing?' Alex asked, looking down at Ruby's foot to see Kara trapped under her toes. Almost laughing at the sight of her sister being so easily bullied and bulldozed by a 12-year-old's toes.
"Please kill me," Kara said, burying her face into her arms in shame as she caught Alex's playful smile, already knowing she would never hear the end of this from her adopted sister.
"This can't possibly get any worse." Kara thought, but she was always proven wrong.
"While you were gone, me and Supergirl played tag. I chased her around like she was a bug, and managed to knock her onto the couch and sit on her, then I made her give me a foot rub. Pretty cool, right?" Ruby beamed with delight as she gave Alex the abridged version of what had transpired since she left.
"Wait, you sat on her? Was she comfortable?" Alex asked, encouraging Ruby's behavior as she pictured an angry Kara fighting against and losing to Ruby's butt, which might have been even more funny than seeing her trapped under Ruby's toes.
"Hey, move over. I've got an idea..." Alex paused, walking around the coffee table to sit beside Ruby.
What does the Secret agent have planned?
1. Alex takes off her boots and plops her feet on the table next to Ruby's, saying Supergirl can eat just as soon as she finishes massaging her feet, assuming Ruby doesn't eat all the pot stickers before she finishes.
2. Alex takes a strange alien device out of her pocket and hands it to Ruby, saying she can use it to help her keep an eye on Supergirl in public. Explaining that it alters the magnetic field of any two targets she chooses. Meaning she can magnetize Supergirl to stick to any part of her she wants.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
