Yuu Takeyama was not happy. The pro hero known as Mt. Lady couldn't believe that her prized pupil somehow managed to get himself caught up in a villain attack and shrunk down in size by said villain's quirk. "I mean seriously Izuku, just what in the heck were you thinking charging in there like that!? Were you actively trying to get yourself killed!?"
The poor emerald eyed teen could only hang his head in shame as he stared down into the purple surface that was actually his sensei's gloved palm. She wasn't even using her quirk and that only served to remind him of just how badly he'd messed up. Charging headfirst into a villain attack? What had he been thinking? What if he got himself or someone killed!
Thankfully his sensei arrived on the scene to deal with the villain, but at the same time she'd been so incensed that she actually just flat out stepped on the guy like he was a little bug. He'd survived the assault, but all his bones were broken, and he had to be rushed to the hospital and put into a medically induced coma while he recovered.
Needless to say, Izuku wouldn't be getting restored anytime soon and his sensei took responsibility for that... after yelling at him a bunch for rushing into a dangerous situation without a plan in mind. He was still just a first year UA student and a member of the support course. He wasn't in the hero course yet. He had to earn that.
"Sorry sensei. My body just moved." Izuku explained. Yuu took a deep breath. That's what she told him after the slim villain incident where the two of them first met. That whole situation was complete mess with pro heroes like herself just standing there while a guy made of slime held a kid hostage and tried to suffocate him.
Izuku didn't have any powers or training and charged right in when no one else would. He looked like a real hero trying to save someone who didn't even like him and that's what inspired her to get her ass in gear and make a move. She used her gigantification quirk to get Izuku and the other boy safely away and flattened the slime villain while she was at it. From what she heard it took hours to clean up all of the villain.
Afterwards the hostage was given some praise, Izuku got scolded by Death Arms and she went to go find him and do some scolding of her own while also given him the praise he'd been denied by the other heroes on the scene. It was a moment in time she'd never forget and the two had shared a close bond ever since. He wanted to be a hero, and she would help him get there, but that was going to be near impossible with him only being two inches tall.
"I know, Izuku. I know. For what it's worth, you did the right thing." Yuu spoke softly. The two were back at her apartment since his mother was out of the country visiting her husband in the states. A trip she paid for. Inko Midoriya was just so damn sweet she could honestly give a person tooth decay. "I'm just sorry I lost my cool on the bad guy."
"It's alright. He survived in the end and I'm pretty sure ninety-five percent for the crowd was cheering you for what you did." Izuku told her. People loved Mt. Lady and apparently some of those people also liked to see her more aggressive side if those loud cheers were anything to go by.
"Yeah." She scratched her cheek nervously. "This isn't going to be a regular thing with me. Praise or no praise."
"Right." Izuku agreed. His sensei couldn't just go around crushing villains as a first response. Force like that should only be used as a last resort. "So, what's going to happen now?"
"Now? I've got some friends looking for anyone with a growth quirk that could restore you." The blonde giantess answered. "In the meantime, you'll be staying with me until we get this all sorted out. My house is your house." She gently placed him down on the coffee table. "Feel free to make yourself comfortable."
