Flare became angry and began using her hair magic to attack the areas around her feet, knowing that this was where Lucy and her Spirits appeared. Still, she couldn't hit them. They simply reacted too quickly.
But it didn't last forever and eventually, one of Lucy's spirits, Tauros, was caught and then defeated. For a second, Flare thought she had eliminated Blondie due to the golden flash as Tauros returned to the spirit world, but a quick electric shock to the wound dispelled that belief and they went back to attacking again.
“Ladies and gentlemen, what a fight this is.” - commented Chapati - "A real battle of Gianat and Lilliputian! Will Raven catch Fairy? Or will Fairy knock down Raven? Or will both sides hold out until the end of time? There has never been anything like this at GMG.”
The crowd started screaming again.
"Forward, Lucy!" - Gray shouted - "I didn't know she could fight like that."
“What were you thinking? In Edolas, she knocked down a huge squid monster.” - Natsu said.
"Seriously. She's so MEN!” - Elfman shouted.
“It's still too early to celebrate.” - Erza said.
Flare finally had enough. Despite defeating another of Blondie's ghosts, some kind of horse-man with a bow, she still couldn't catch her, and as much as she didn't want to admit it, this Lilliputian was actually giving her a hard time. She shouldn't have assumed such an easy victory.
“I've had enough of this, blonde!” - Flare shouted, then jumped back a few meters and used her hair to tear out a large block of dirt and throw it into the air. Then she began to destroy him with her hair, using it as a whip. The block of earth quickly broke into tiny pieces and the audience saw 2 flashes of light.
