Chapter #10

Second chance for Marianne!

    by: Krashify Author IconMail Icon
The Golden Deer watched the horrors unfold with open jaws. Hearing Marianne’s frantic apologies made it clear how powerless the knights were even to her accidental movements.

“Oh.. my god…” Claude lamented, “What have we done…”

“Those poor knights…” Ignatz mourned

“I don’t believe it…” Byleth trailed off

“J-Jeralt… How could this happen?” Leonie cried, as she grabbed his coat and shook him “Can’t you do anything, Byleth?!?”

“Hey, Leonie, it wasn’t his fault… He couldn’t have known what would happen.” Claude said

Byleth closed his eyes as he focused on Marianne and her growth just before she stepped forward and trampled, crushed and devoured the tiny knights. He had rewound through his memory until he had the image of a giant Marianne, in the plains before them, clearly in his mind. He focused hard as he felt the current noise silence, as he felt the world turn around him.

-

Once it had stopped, he opened his eyes. Before him were the feet of the giantess Marianne, before he heard the goddess-like figure speak.

“Wow, you’re so tiny… O-okay, Here I go-” Marianne announced

“Wait! Marianne! Stop!” Byleth suddenly interrupted her, his heart beating fast with the image of Marianne accidentally dispatching the knights easily.

“H-huh! Y-yes? W-what is it, Professor?” Marianne said worried.

“Just.. be very careful Marianne. The knights will be focusing their efforts on dodging Hilda, so they won’t be able to dodge both her and you. So be careful and try to gently retrieve them, then take them to safety. While trying to get Hilda to stop attacking anyone.” Byleth ordered

“U-uh… Okay! That’s a lot to remember, but I’ll try!” Marianne smiled, before she turned towards the battlefield.

Marianne slowly and carefully walked forward, and had her hands clasped together as she said to herself “This… feels familiar somehow… Why do I have this bad feeling? Like my heart is racing, but also kind of, exciting? I wonder if that’s why the professor said to be careful…”

As she approached the battle, she could see the furious look on Hilda’s face as she genuinely seemed like she was trying to crush the knights.

“O-oh dear. Hilda is really trying to hurt them!” Marianne mumbled to herself, “I need to stop her!”

“Hilda! Stop! You can’t hurt them!” Marianne shouted loudly.

“Marianne? Oh hey!” Hilda said surprised, before brandishing a frown towards the knights, “I can’t really stop. They tied me up and hurt me, so I’m going to hurt them! Fair’s fair!”

Marianne got close as Hilda was trying to smash the knights with her fist and rip the ropes from her ankles. Marianne kept her eyes on the tiny figures running around below in a panic. As she saw a tiny white figure dodge out of the way of Hilda’s fist, Marianne snatched it up in her hand before bringing the figure to her face.

“H-hey! Let me go! Wait, you’re Hilda’s friend! What are you going to do?” Catherine shouted from Marianne’s hand as she dangled high in the air, in front of Marianne’s face.

W-why does this feel familiar… and exciting… Is this déjà vu? No! Marianne, you have to be careful! They’re so tiny and fragile, like little birds. Marianne thought.

“I’m going to take you to safety, then try and stop Hilda...” Marianne announced

“Well, thanks for the help! Better act quick before she can hurt the others!” Catherine said

“Right!” Marianne said, as she kneeled down to get closer to the knights, “Come to me! I’ll take you to safety.”

Marianne held her hands on the ground, as the knights gathered in front, climbing on to her palm. As they bunched up in her hands, she stood up, causing the knights to lose balance and fall over during the ascent.

Hilda managed to undo her restraints and stand up.

“Nice, Marianne! You caught them all!” Hilda cheered

“No, Hilda! We can’t hurt them!” She admonished Hilda

Seriously, Marianne? You’re no fun…” Hilda sighed

“It’s dangerous, Hilda. Now hand over Dimitri and Edelgard.” Marianne said, finding her confidence

“I don’t think so. You’re going to have to take them off me. Although I’ll trade them for the knights…” Hilda smirked

“No! Hilda, you can’t kill them!” Marianne said, as she stepped back towards the Golden Deer house.

“I’m huge, Marianne, I can do what I want. They should have thought of that before they hurt me!” Hilda complained, before getting close to Marianne. As Marianne shielded the knights, Hilda wrapped her arms around Marianne’s waist, bringing her face next to Marianne’s ear.

“Besides…” Hilda whispered in a playful, seductive tone, “Don’t you want to let loose and really have some fun with me? Think about how powerful we are. No one can stop us… Or our desires…”

Marianne blushed at Hilda’s advance, as she felt a powerful urge come over her, staring lustfully at the helpless knights sitting in her palms. The knights felt an ominous and chilling feeling of déjà vu as they looked at the desire on Marianne’s face.

“Now would be a good time to put us down…” Shamir commented

“H-hey, Marianne! What’s going on? Don’t listen to her! You have to take us back to safety, right?” Catherine said, a slight hint of fear in her voice.

As she looked down on the knights, their fear and uncertainty enticing to the giantess Marianne. With Hilda holding her and whispering in her ear, Marianne…
