You find yourself held before the bewildered eyes of a gigantic woman of Asian complexion, perhaps in her late forties, possibly her fifties. She is clearly clad in the uniform of the store, and is likely responsible for stocking the shelves. You've seen this one before, though never spoken to her. Most of your interactions at the store were with another employee, Donna. As the woman inspects you, you spot a single wireless headphone planted in one of her ears, music audibly reverberating from its speaker, no doubt something to break the occasionally lonely monotony of her job. The woman, having freshly caught you, squats down near one of the shelves of the convenience store, inspecting you with curiosity and mild confusion
Her fingertips mash firmly around your body, holding you with just firmly enough to prevent you from doing anything more than twitching, yet not enough enough to crush you. She is strong enough to be classified as a force of nature, capable of ripping buildings from their foundations, yet her fingers are evidently (and fortunately) well trained to handle minutia with care. You wiggle ever so slightly in her iron grip as she observes you.
"これは何ですか? A toy? A bug?" She mutters to herself under her breath, her words a mix of Japanese and English. You begin to call up to her for help, but the sound of the woman's single headphone speaker masks your voice well enough for her to not really notice it, even if one of her ears is free. As the woman inspects you, she suddenly stands up straight, your body rushing upward at gut wrenching speeds. You are once more brought before her face, your boy now tilted awkwardly on its side.
The woman scratches her china as she observes the strange find. Her vision isn't what it used to be, but the thing in her grip appears to possess the rough appearance of a doll... yet it appears to be vibrating. Possibly even moving. The prospect of some toy manufacturer loading a cheap plastic plaything with machine parts small enough to fit inside of the already toy boggles her mind. Though, to be fair, she really hasn't been keeping up with the toy industry Her only 'children' are her dog and cat, and they do not really need advanced toys. Perhaps Hasbro and the like have gotten into advanced AI equipped toys? Now that she thinks about it, this thing might still be suitable sport for one of her pets.
More concerning than the prospect of it being a toy is the prospect of it being a bug. Her eyesight is not perfect, and the thing in her grip lacks in contrasting colors. This may in fact be a particularly large ant, or a larval worm. In which case... why the hell is she still holding it? The thought of applying a bit more pressure to crush the thing into a smear does cross her mind.
Finally there is one other possibility for what it could be... though the thought seems so unlikely that she breaks into a giggle for even contemplating. What if this tiny thing in her fingertips is a shrunken human? She remembers seeing the movie 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids" when she was younger. The thought of having a tiny person of her own had once crossed her mind. This thing does indeed appear to be shaped like a human....
After a moment of contemplation, the worker at last makes her decision.
