Jaden's thoughts were spiralling as he tried to make sense of whatever was going on that he ended up throwing up and passing out.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" a voice said as he was punched. He looked up at Atticus. "It's your fault! It's your fault she's dead!"

"But Atticus, I--"

"But nothing! You were her boyfriend! You should've protected her! If I ever see you again, I--"

Jaden gasped as he woke up, placing his head in his hand.

"That's right. I was supposed to protect her. I was supposed to protect, and--"

"--And what?" a voice said. Jaden recognized that angelic voice and turned to see her.

"Alexis!"

"I'm not this Alexis you're talking about! I'm Princess Asuka!"

Jaden flinched and backed off.

"Right. Right." Jaden said it the second time sadly. "That's right. Alexis is gone. I'm fooling myself."

What was Asuka thinking?
