She was a knight in the order of Tichi, goddess of light. But more importantly, she was light touched.
It’s not just Rhystahl’s coloration that lets you know she’s light touched. True, she is fair skinned, blonde haired and blue eyed, which is a rare coloration for a human in the Kingdom, but not unheard of. She’s six foot tall, extremely tall for a human woman, but not unheard of. She’s a very beautiful woman, with an almost unearthly beauty, but again, this is not what makes you know she is Light touched.
There is just some undefinable quality about the woman that lets you know that she has been touched by the Celestial Realm. At times, it’s like you can almost see a pair of white wings emerging from her back.
Next at the table are the two identical twin elf sisters, Joirelle and Koirelle. They have the same coloration as Rhystahl but, since they’re elves, it’s expected. Both were born and raised in the Calleryn Forest, the southern edge of which is seventy miles north of FigFork. Both twins are Randir. Elves as a rule are adept with bows and woodcraft, but an elf trained as a Randir makes other elves look like bumbling dwarves lost in the woods.
Next is Laurella, a bard from Bantul. Bantul serves as a crossroads for the known world, so humans from Bantul don’t always look like regular Kingdom humans. Laurella is five foot two inches tall, making her petite by human standards. She has long, straight, dark auburn hair, skin that is tan rather than light olive, and hazel-green eyes. Laurella is a bard, but there is a mischievous look about her eyes that lets you know Laurella knows how to make a locked door unlocked when no one else is around.
Finally there is Greshah, who at five foot four, has the typical height and appearance of a Kingdom human woman, albeit a very beautiful Kingdom human woman. Greshah is a priestess of Tichi, and Rhystahl seems very differential to the quiet priestess.
You sit down at the table, and introductions are made all around. The women then begin discussing their quest with you, which will have you departing FigFork and traveling ___________ along the Royal Highway.
