Even though it was risky, Valery steered the ship towards the uncharted part of this sea.
"I'm not sure I can help here, if I can hardly see anything," Jasmine sighed.
She then felt a hand on her shoulder as Valery drew her in closer.
"Then that just means you can be by my side the whole time," Valery replied, making Jasmine blush.
The waters were surrounding by a wall of jagged rocks. There was a gap, which was there only way through. The moment they entered, everything went dark. The black thunderous clouds above them blocked out all light. Their only light now were the lanterns around there ship.
With help from her crew, Valery steered through the black waters, avoiding whatever may damage the boat.
All the while, her hand was still on Jasmine, who seemed worried.
"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe, we'll get through this." Slowly, Jasmine felt Valery's hand move down her shoulder to her waist.
Now more calm, Jasmine's eye caught something in the distance. A tall tower with a blinking light.
"That light, there must be something there. Maybe it's someone using morse code signalling for help?"
They had no idea if that was the case. Then Valery looked in the other direction. There was another sort of light, a pale glow. Maybe it was her imagination, but there something moving?
