| She was a vibrant, glossy white My darling Nimue And oh the freedom that I felt, Driving every day. She was nimble. She was quick. She was my pride and joy. She was my first car ever owned My most expensive toy Windows down and CDs on We would cruise around I was elated she was mine The coolest car in town But, alas, she's mine no more He kept her when he left. She cruised by once with his new wife The sight left me bereft. Though she and I have separate roads And she has gone away We had a blast while she was mine My darling Nimue |
