What wonders do we see when we at times venture over to a past of another day and time. I could see your vision as if I myself were visible there.
It was at once terrifying and surreal, but just as suddenly I became still and calm and the adventure went on....I do believe that we can move into other times with ease when we so wish to view the person we used to be......The rhythm and the flow of this piece was absolutely marvelous. Thank you for this timely piece on the subject of child abuse. These little ones who need love and affection are so starved for the right life with the right parents, who will know and understand what they have been through....The world is filled with them and their stories are all different and so sad....I agree we need to ban together on their behalf....Thank you for sharing this story and good luck in this months contest.
Sorry to hear of your loss and for being a victim of fraud....I have seen these same letters come into my in box so often and I don't even open them....I delete as fast as I can hit that delete button....I've seen others who think they have found the golden goose, to find they have lost their life savings and everything including the goose....I hope that this article you've written will find it's way to others who could fall into these same scams and learn something before it's much to late.......Good luck to you and your wife, and my prayers are with you.

This is quite endearing and poetic....my heart weeps for the pain caused by another...but the lessons learned far out weigh the bad....you have come to grips with this hurt and it can never touch you or yours ever again...very well told and nothing wasted...thank you for sharing and I'll be back again.
I think just about everyone who joins this site becomes so addicted it's sometimes very overwhelming...overwhelming in the fact that something’s get left undone, people who thought they were so important in your life outside of here find out they aren't so important anymore....house notes and car payments fall quietly to the floor…not to mention household duties etc….So, saying, this is a cutie and well worth the read...I know how you feel....Because it's so me...........Thanks for sharing and it was well worth the time....
What a lonely life this person must live hidden inside with all this gloom...what a sadden heart does the one who gives the time to help clean the space. I love trees too, and I hate to see them destroyed by fire, storm or by the saw...I live in the Calif. rain forest and I see this destruction going on before my very eyes...as the canyon becomes over run with new homes and still making room for more...not only does the forest hurt but the lost animals that depended on the forest for food and protection are now running wild with nowhere to go....A lovely piece and very nice writing...thank you so much for the story....And welcome to Writing.Com...

I think you have fallen the way of many over forty and aren't you lucky....so many of us have forgotten where we live or where we left the car....not to mention the kids and the hubby....and to tell you the truth you don't even have to be forty or over....Doctors say dementia can start as early as five or six years of age....just depending on how much we've over packed the mind with junk....I land in all of the above categories...Thanks for sharing and hope your husband had a wonderful birthday...........
