Blogging, to take over the world.
The object is to teach an old dog new tricks. (not much hope ... )

It is official, winter is here, a bit late, as it is already June.
Cannot be too unhappy, the flies, mosquitoes and other nasty things that bite in the night, will take a respite.
Now we start, the harvest must be brought in, the season is almost done.

To work, to sweat, perchance to get a rest - that will not happen.

word for the day: WINNOW, v.t. win-no, to separate and drive off the chaff from grain by means of the wind; to fan; to beat , as if with wings; to examine; to sift for the purpose of separating falsehood from truth; to separate, as the bad from the good; v.i. to separate chaff from corn

The world is for sale, going to anybody that wants it.
It is really sick.
It needs a make-over, a re-do, a serious ... very serious ... look-at.
The things that make the news, it is totally nuts.
Imagine that a country starts to sell itself off, bit by bit.
Eventually it has sold so much of itself that it starts to disappear, literally and figuratively.
Then, it has to buy itself back again.
Now, somewhere, there is something wrong in that picture.
This is happening in the Eastern countries. (only there?)
So - who cares - it's business, a buck for the day keeps everybody happy.
Souls are cheap and so are countries.
There is not much else on the market, unless you want a bit of cocaine or rhino horn.

The pestilence* is doing its thing, now for the tough to get going and the others to stay behind and face the music.
A long year ahead ... oh well, there's always next year.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going ....(who said this?) well, they left. long ago.

Winter time - when young boys thoughts turn to what the young girls have been thinking all year long.

For the first time, I am looking forward to winter, as I may have more time to write, well - let's see what happens.

The world is going mad, or so it seems, all over - strange things are happening - and I wonder - can I get the day off tomorrow?

Give a person a fish to eat and you feed him for a day. Teach a person to fish for himself, and he can feed himself and maybe a few others. (old Chinese saying)

And now I have to buy the boat, the tackle and all the other trimmings. What did I get myself into again!

The morning dew is so bright in the morning light, the grass shines a million diamonds, winter is on its way.

A quiet Sunday, the visiting kids have left for their home, the youngest (Prince), is visiting with the girlfriend and it is as peaceful as can be. This is how the world should be, quiet and peaceful, not as sad and as bad as it it is at the moment.

Typical, while he goes around sniffing the roses and looking at the clear blue sky, I have to feed the pigs and chickens and keep the Queen happy. Simpleton !

I see skies of blue ..... clouds of white
Bright blessed days ..... dark sacred nights
And I think to myself ..... what a wonderful world

When the old go, we say "Yes, a good full life they did have, no regrets." The allotted time was reached and maybe more, and maybe a bit less, at least - a full life.

The middle aged, those who still have to - then they are gone .... the work is not done, the life unfinished and the emptiness stretches out - seemingly till forever, then , hopefully a new life, an acceptance and peace.

The child ... no reason ~ no clarity ~ only a how, a when and a where - with a Will not so clear.

A disease comes with the blessing of the rain. A deadly virus on the back of a gnat, my what fun farming is. We made the news or at least the outbreak has. 1200 head of stock in this area alone, at least it is confined to this area and will not go too far. It is still raging and the final count is still to come. For me, 3 cows and abortions are starting. All because of a little happy gnat, it had enough rain. And now it is spreading its deadly happiness.

Accursed be the soil because of you.
With suffering shall you get your food from it.

Genesis.

Every now and then, we forget why we started a project.
We are so busy with the passing by and sorting out of all the daily problems, that we tend to forget what the original aim was.

Mine was to take over the WORLD!

Why? Would you ask, why take over the world, when you cannot even sort out your own little world?

It is easier..... it is easier to cure all the ails of the world, than to sort out your own personal little heap of troubles.

Take world peace for instance. All we need to do, is kill off a few hundred or thousand people and voilà - peace.

But in a HOME .....you have to kill off 50% of the population, ie. half, before you will have peace!

And I thought I had problems!

"So I'm just writing, always dissatisfied with what I have written, yet unable to improve on it."

The rains came, again and again. It has now rained on and off for almost 20 days, certain areas are flooded and to the south - a drought - the likes of which they have not seen in a long, long while.
Okay, who is in charge around here?

Words of wisdom? Running short at the moment, this one says this and that one that.
The story is running towards its own end and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it.
Bear and grin!

*flowerg* I was mentioning rain, well, it came, lots and lots. The frogs are so happy, they are jumping up and down. The mosquitoes are eye-ing us in all seriousness and the flies are splendid in their bottle-green tuxes.

If such lowly creatures can be happy, surely, we can try a smile.

Bloody nice, mud everywhere, the road's a mess.
After sunset you cannot put your head out the door. Worse than the Twilight Zone.
Infernal frogs, twenty-six versions of '''We all croak together - Dum de dam, dum de dam..."'
And those flies, every where, flies.

*FlowerB* It rained for four days and four nights, with breaks in between.....
As the little farm boy asked, on hearing about Noah's '40 days and 40 nights' rain, "Were the farmers satisfied?
