Blogging, to take over the world.
The object is to teach an old dog new tricks. (not much hope ... )

It is said by many, writing is work - requiring dedication; effort; research; knowledge; discipline; sacrifice and commitment. And all the reader has to do is read ..... rather like a person devouring a gourmet's offering or a family getting stuck into mom's Sunday feast.

Today you rest, tomorrow you work. Be happy in your work. (Quoted loosely from ''''The Bridge on the River Kwai.'''')

Sun in the west, sluggard at his best - - I do love sunsets

You only live once, but if you work right, once is enough.(no idea who penned this)
- ex. www.coolnsmart.com - they have lots!)

Enjoy your work, think of all the poor rich people that do not have a job.

Monday again, well at least that brings us one day closer to Friday. Friday I can say in all honesty, "I'll see, maybe next week." Then Monday comes and says, "well - let's see!"

Every now and then, in time, something happens to make the world sit up and take note. An earthquake here, a tsunami there, a major drought somewhere and still it is a surprise every time. Surely not!
Even in our own lives they happen, a breakup whether it be a short date or a serious relationship, an alcohol/drug situation gone wrong, or financial ruin. Surprise, I did not see it coming. Surely not!

Pour me another, switch the TV on, let's watch ..where is that again. Here - and don't be late. Watch what you are doing. Be careful .........

Look at the day, for tomorrow we will talk about today's history.

They are there somewhere, in the dark recesses of my mind. They taunt, tease and tantalize, they bark as dogs do on a moonlit night. Do they want to come out into the light, surely, they cannot want to die in there? How do you tease them into the day for these ideas are a strange lot?

Silly, ideas will only show when you allow the imagination to play and rule the day.
Ideas are not for the slave of the day. The slave cannot afford ideas, only sweat and labor, to pay for the day.

Idea, n. i-dee-a, an image or a conception of a thing in the mind ; a notion ; a thought ; an impression ; an opinion (L)

Best for the New Year ..... Best, well .... yes!! The future holds the new, the better and the best.

Tomorrow, always tomorrow, things will be better tomorrow.

Today was not that bad, was it?

Well, in my case, yesterday sucked big time! The day before as well, and before, ad nausea.

Flu, the great equalizer, the one thing we all get for free, the poor and the wealthy, add to this an upset tummy and you have the makings of one very unhappy 'peep' (soon to be excepted into Websters as a synonym for 'other').
There I was, curled up, stretched out, considering the universe and to break the monotony, my navel was contemplated (have you seen the amount of strange things that accumulate into your navel). Sleeping was a great part of the entertainment and duties(colored tablets and unpleasant, tasting fluids, every few hours) to keep the flu-viri happy. Coughing, wheezing and sneezing, exactly as the advert predicts (how do they always know these things?).

One - virus, two or more - viri.

A good time to think on things, nobody to bother you.

The kids are terrified of getting some disease or something (please bring me....), they stay away - - so far....

Peace, with a pricetag, cough,cough....do not step on that,it is my lung !! COUGH !!

"how are you feeling.....?" the wife enquires.

*Sick* "cough/wheeze/sneeze/*#~`>**<" = translates as (fine, thank you very much, nice of you to ask, now can I die in peace?)

Even this passes.

A Happy New Year and may the resolutions' list be shortened and the blessings' list be longer

Oh, my resolution: "Do not make any - yet, I will pretend that I did."

It is more fun in the pretend world, I may even pretend to do something.

Soon it will rain, then we will have summer, in the meantime we wait .... we always wait and hope, it will rain, it always does. In the meanwhile we wait, and hope.Summer is here, that brings forth visions of the flowers and the bees, what do we have, dust and dry.

The rain we had did not make a summer, it did make everyone think it was summer, summer is still to come, till then we will have 'sprimmer' - the time between spring and summer, the time when everything waits, we wait for summer, the time when we grow, really grow and then we can reap. That is what we live for, to reap. Now we cannot live, we wait, and hope.

When all else fail,
we look for help.
Where will we look,
if there is nowhere to look.
Somehow there must be
somewhere to look,
for if there is nothing else,
then I must look to myself.
I think, I must look again.

And it went even worse, the computer even eventually decided to give up. Or did it decide to join the evil forces against my plans. Nothing goes well when it goes wrong. Darkness descends, things go wrong..... Who said
The sun will shine again tomorrow! That, is one of the problems, all this beautiful sunshine. Too much of a good thing ain't good!

There you are, it rained. No shut-up and pull out the nice weeds, now you get weeds with the rain.

Let there be nothing harsh or abrupt in the conclusion of a sentence, for on that conclusion the mind pauses and rests. This is the most material part in the structure of discourse. Here every one expects to be gratified.
**The conclusion of a sentence: Quintilian.**

How, and even worse, when. This is the 'official dry run' to do a novel, and what happens, life! in all its glory,

almost every thing that can go wrong, does! (Murphy's law no: xxa)

And when things go wrong, I have to simply - fix it.

Do unto others, before they do unto you. (Why do most people consider this in a negative way?)

ABILITY: power, whether bodily or mental, natural or acquired; force of understanding; moral or legal power; wealth; means; solvency.

(O.Fr.ablete, cleverness.) Therefore, all normal thinking people have the ability to acknowledge, to discern, right or wrong.

Small problem here, whose right and whose wrong? That is where the loopholes are.

Someone had the ability to take a snippet of my writing and turn it into a poem.

That does not make me a poet, it does tell me, I am not paying attention.

- The apple fell from the tree, as apples have done since the earliest days.

Nobody bothered why, afterall, that is what apples do, they fall down, all fall down - so what !

. . . . .It has rained,
. . . .the cycle goes on,
. .planting,growing, and reaping.
.
. . . .As it should be,
. . . . .no surprises,
. . .the moon and the sun
. . . .doing their thing,
. . . . .no surprises

ex.my blog of 10-12-2009. As arranged by Radler Zpheitor (Merlak) he's a poet.

A thought, any thought worth anything, will be very welcome.

There are thoughts, of the lack of this or that, time that flies faster than time itself, reason - the reason of logic - of why, ? and seasons moving by, all of these keep me occupied.

This is not new or news, it is a repitition of yesterday.

I need - new, - news, - that will make a difference to the day.

It has rained, the cycle goes on, planting, growing and reaping. As it should be, no surprises, the moon and sun doing their thing, no surprises.

The Happiest Time

I count myself in nothing else so happy
As in a soul remembering my good friends.

SHAKESPEARE
