My dad smoked but later quit for over 40 years but he still got Cancer. The doctor told him that his smoking was the cause of the cancer; because he quit he only had to have 1/2 lung removed. He lived 10 years with no occurrence. He passed away 4 yrs ago but not from lung Cancer. I will be praying for this situation. I do understand!
I had tears starting to form as i ended reading your poem. A mother's love is one of a kind, and the little things like watching their baby sleep is what a mother's life is all about.
Great poem! I feel that God does send special love to his people when it is right. People today want things right away; however even when it comes to special love. God sent me someone at the right time. Now, a short time ago we got married. God in my opinion never fails when a heart calls out for the other half of it.

After i read the first part about of the poem about how children fear the dark I almost thought you should have stayed with how children react to monsters through darkness. I went back and re-read it, and you wrote it very well. I would make one suggestion, and that is to suggest the readers to read it twice. I enjoyed this poem even more because my sister and I had 2 pigeons when we was young. We was taught to clean out his cage. We use to put a string on his one leg to keep him on our shoulder but one time the one flew away. My dad bought us a new pigeon. The only thing I didn't like is that they made strange noises at night and our bedroom was outside near the garage. We heard their voice loud and clear, but we loved them all the same. I also use to love stories or even cartoon about woodpeckers. All in all your poem gave me back some of my childhood today. Thank you!

There are many things people take for granted that can bring sunshine to their days. Sharing a cup of coffee or hot tea can also be a cup of sunshine for everyday of the year. A simple call on the telephone to a loved one can be like a cup of sunshine as well. It is time people start to see the good that is in the world instead of them focusing on things they are not satisfied with.
I feel sorry for people today that can't seem to understand that the world doesn't revolve around just them. People should try to think of others more than themselves. It is better to give than to receive.
This piece is one that should be read every Sunday morning in church in my opinion. Today's world is full of people that judge the actions of others. The world needs to ponder upon the messages throughout this piece. It is time to make the world a better place to live in. I enjoyed your poem. I think it is delightful and could make readers feel like they are starting a carefree day. The poem also made me think of the movie ,'Finding Nemo.' because of the wonderful feelings that come from the all the colors from under the sea. The poem is good and full of heartfelt emotions. People want to trust too easily, and it seems no matter how many times we are taken for granted our foolish hearts try try again. Loving hearts will not give up on trying to find love no matter how foolish we continue to feel time and time again.
People sometimes try very hard to be someone's one and only knowing they never will be because love was not the center, but lust was the root of it all. The poem is about lust not love. Many people look for love in the wrong places, knowing all along lust was in front and behind it all. Very good poem about how lust can make someone feel less of an individual.

Such a sad story within this poem. Made me want to know what happens later on. The woman could have ask the vet for a medication that could help the dog be less aggressive. Safety must come first no matter how cute and sad a dog looks. I love my pets but if they were to turn aggressive I would try first and foremost to see if any medication might be available that could help his temper.Great poem even though it was filled with sadness. There is truth in these words. Many people take abuse from family members due to their love for them, so I guess pet owners might do this as well.
