We had a tree like this nearby our previous home. Even after it had long died, people would pull over to the side of the road to take pictures of what had once been a big, beautiful tree, standing alone in a cow pasture. Then it became a solemn monument until nature finally claimed it. Nicely written.
I visited Stonehenge some years ago on a trip to England and I was amazed. The tour guide said we would spend an hour there and I thought that would be much too long. But I was entranced. I couldn't stop staring at the stones. I don't know what attracted me so much, but I was mesmerized. It was the highlight of the trip.
OK, I see now why you have all these awards. I really love your poems. Amusing, entertaining, well-constructed and easy to read. I can certainly see a series of children's books. I think you are the most talented writer I have encountered here.
