I appreciate that you have taken the time and had the willingness to express that "The cancer does not care."

I lost my Grandmother on my Mother's side due to breast cancer. One month afterwards, my Grandfather on my mother's side.

Now my step father and a close personal friend both have cancer and are going through what you have described.

Writing is a form of self expression. I use writing to confront my issues as well.

This reminds me of when I was about eight years of age. My father was trying to teach mother how to fish... when she cast for the first time she caught my father in the backside. Talk about a catch!

WHY: "Why is it that we work so hard on other people's dreams and not our own?"
HOW COME: "How come money is used to determine what everything and everyone is worth?"
AND THEN WHAT: "After you have achieved your goals of a family, home, money, then what?"
WHAT IF: "What if everyone decided all at once to say the hell with money and it's pursuit and simply did things for each other?"
IS IT TRUE: "I recall asking about heaven when I was a child."

Very personal reflection and I accept that we are all strange in our own ways.

I appreciate Lady Gaga for my own reasons, the main one being that her tours are a ministry of sorts preaching through actions and love that we are all equal. I respect and admire that.

Church is in the heart and within ones mind which are connected to our souls.

I firmly believe that we all are equal. That was the true message from God.

Every single one of us has to determine where they fit in this construct of society which is based upon the pursuits of money and material wealth in order so that we can be managed by the powers that exist.

Personally, I would love to work for Masonry and for the Shrine for free forsaking all monies so they can look after everyone through their businesses and charities. Alas you have to have money to participate within these fraternities.

I always joke that I am in the fanciest urban detention center on the planet Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Urban detention centers (cities) are the greatest invention as well as greatest test for humanity.

I guess being homeless four times in the past has also helped solidify my perceptions.

So long as you keep writing from your heart you will find acceptance and understanding.

Reminds me of Halloween. My favorite holiday.

All the children dressed in costumes, all the decorations, the stories as well as the time spent together with friends and family.

This also reminds me of my father who passed away when I was 12 years old. I used to dress up as a clown.

You certainly captured my attention with this piece.

Time touches all things and in the end most of what is left is memories.

My father calls out to me along with many other lost in my past, grand parents, friends as well as jobs.

Perspectives are always interesting to write from. The above reminds me of a homeless person, a hit man or police officer.

This world is based upon greed and the pursuit of material wealth through contracts. Should we collectively stray from our obligations there are always repercussions enforced by others.

You have written from the perspective of one enforcing the rules in order to exist.

We fight against everything including ourselves constantly. In the end we all are sorted out up or down.

Remembrance - A reminder that we carry on; we are their legacy

My grandfather had a broken heart. He lost his wife one month earlier due to breast cancer.

Back when I was 12 years old I wrote "Love is like time"

Love is like time
You must hold onto the memories
Cherish each and every moment
For they are hard to come by
And are easily lost
