Very interesting. I believe that Jesus had but one message "We are all loved and equal."

I have tried to keep an open mind (and heart) especially towards trying to respect other people and their beliefs (differences).

I too believe in service, which lead me into Masonry and that has opened my mind in countless ways.

Keep writing, thank you for sharing your strength and wisdom.

Democracy is the way forward. I believe this also. It embraces everyone.

However, power corrupts over time due to the influence of money politics. Greece has taught us all so much over the course of time.

My issue with the current financial system is that we have currency differences based upon values not fully understood by the majority are we to accept these values as accurate based upon blind faith?

I believe that we are all equal, everyone. Currency should adopt the same principal and do away with differences in currency based again upon values that are not properly explained. One currency, one market, global democracy.

My next issue with the current system is that there does not seem to have enough debt forgiveness and we chase debts with far too much effort. If I understand the current system of banking there really is no end in either direction... so why is their a debt ceilings? Greece after World War 2 held most of the debt in the world. They practiced charity and wrote off vast sums of debt. Yet, they suffer from austerity due to the powers of those who hold the debts now. Again, where is the charity?

Third, the world economic system seems to fear growth. War is not a solution at any given time. Yet business is used to trigger war over and over again.

Look at the USA, they were manipulated into Afghanistan due to terrorism but what was their aim, their true aim? Simultaneously, they are also lead into war with Iraq. Again, what was the true aim, intention. Next, they are drawn into the Syrian conflict, again trying to get the USA into a situation where troops are required on the ground.

My view is that all these points if simultaneously pursued can be used as launching points against Iran in the future. Thankfully I believe Barak Obama is very perceptive and has taken the US troops out of these places dancing against this mass manipulation. Oh I would appreciate his being in power beyond the 8 year mandate (they are trying to avoid dictatorships sadly; so many great leaders run into this wall of time being limited in office).

These wars and conflicts are manipulated to generate revenues to help with debt management and as well as a way to control the growth of civilization especially from the standpoint of those trying to create a single source for generating governance.

I personally feel that there are wealthy personages in the world that simply use everything that they can to try and govern. Their intentions are cloaked in secrecy, hidden behind dummy corporations and so on. The ones in the eye of the storm or public eye are being managed by them. Why? Who are they? What is in their hearts?

I site these things to try and broaden your focus. We need a single system of governance not based on greed but rather based on actual management with heart. The current systems have been corrupted and need to be amended using the democratic processes.

I believe in the World Bank. I believe in the United Nations. I believe in a single currency. I believe in a single marketplace where equality is practiced. A persons money should be worth the same regardless where they live. Therefore, I believe in a single stock market with a single currency in the world. I believe that both Masonry and the Shrine Fraternities have been used for governance in the past and are at odds with each other due to businesses on either side. They are always dancing with each other vying to dominate, to make the rules. In the end, there can be only one source for governance, a democratic one where Masonry and the Shrine are treated equally and not manipulated into wars. We have to get off this planet and into the stars is my belief for we are not alone.

Anyways, I am starting to vent... forgive me...

But we have to crawl before we can stand. Walk before we can run and so on. But I dream of everyone being equal one day. I believe in Star trek. I recommend you watch the original TV series and set of movies.

First of all thank you very much for sharing your faith and brief story. We all have troubles and challenges in our daily lives. Glad that your prayers have been answered.

My belief being a Catholic is that Jesus had one clear message that we are all equal and it is up to us to decide whether to believe. I do.

Joining Masonry and the Shrine further cemented my beliefs.

This essay doesn't require any changes.

I never had such friends or opportunities so I enjoyed this piece. When I was growing up we didn't have the money to participate (father died when I was 12).

My church is of course in my heart. When my father passed away many years ago the folks at our church saw fit to distance themselves from us for our family unit was now broken. ever since I celebrate Jesus in my daily actions and how I live my life.

The capitalist system does have room for individuality so long as you are under contract working to meet their goals and expectations. They being the share holders and business owners. What happened to charity? What happened to love? Hate is sadly winning over the world population and eventually, the corporations of the world will lead us into conflict for they manipulate our political and economic systems since they lobby the respective politicians.

Freedom is a wonderful concept. When will humanity ever attain it?

The focus used to simply be family in the past. In the last 100 years that has been replaced to a certain extent with what our societies teach us about greed. Keep in mind that money corrupts everything if not kept in check.

Its well written and yes we are all prisoner's of corporate greed. You see we are taught to participate and become a happy participate chasing money within the confines of our urban detention centres (cities) yes I did not excel within the education processes either.

School teaches us from the perspectives of individuals not necessarily the truth or in the broader picture from the victor's point of view.

People tend to write from their perspectives heavily influenced by their environment and their direct experiences.

Never forget that human nature has a component of greed within it. We are given a system of governance with money as the main tool for control. Can you imagine a world for one moment that people give for free? Work for free to promote positive change? The world that we have would then become ours if we did indeed do this. The world is starving for fresh ideas.

Anyways, I enjoyed your writing, keep at it.
