30 Day Blogging Challenge PROMPT for January 16, 2020

What are you waiting for?
There are so many ways to answer this question, both light and heavy, so I look forward to reading where you go with it!

This is a good question because everyone is waiting for something. It's the same as, "what do you want?" We all want something.

Does anybody remember when TV closed for the night? Like, the movie would end, the National Anthem would play, and a recorded voice would announce, "This concludes our broadcasting day."

I remember being awake early in the morning and waiting for the TV to start back up.

What if the internet kept regular business hours? (Just an example of a bad question. Feel free not to answer)

If I know that something will happen such as the TV will start back up, I'll wait patiently, I have a lot of patience.

If it's not certain whether something will happen. I have very little patience and will push the issue until I get a definitive answer.

What are you doing? Another good one. People are either doing something or they're not. Gotta answer.

Leslie is constantly asking me, "What are you doing?" She asks me this when I'm not doing anything, so my answer is always, "nothing."

What do you want me to do, I ask.

Nothing, she says.

I'm doing it! WTF!

What are you thinking about? Another one of Leslie's questions.

How I would love to say, I was just thinking about minding my own business, but I do love her, and she'd probably throw something at me.

Moving right along, here are a few things that I am waiting for.

I'm waiting for spring to arrive, the temperature is forecast to be -40 tomorrow morning.

I'm waiting for the right opportunity to buy a vintage vehicle, a 1961 Corvette, or Cadillac. Both would be nice.

Right now I'm waiting for another idea to come to mind. (This is usually the time Leslie asks me what are you thinking about?)

-40 That's fucked! lol

Is waiting and procrastinating the same thing?

Big picture thinking: I'm waiting for the world to end. I think we're close, and I know I'm going to die someday anyway, so I think it would be nice to see the end of the world.
I'm very curious about how things will play out. Will it be natural causes, climate change/global warming, all-out nuclear holocaust or as described in the book of Revelations. Either way, everybody going out at the same time kind of appeals to me.

And... what we've all been waiting for... The end.

Keep warm!
