This was a well written story full of emotion. The love shown for her daddy was expressed in in so many ways. It is hard to hate someone and love them at the same time. Love stuck by him to the end. My daddy was also a alcoholic and embarassed me many a time, but I don't think he could control it. Great job.

There was a couple little things I might have worded different, nothing major. What is so great about writing is you have your own style. Some things will look different to different writers. Towards the end you said there is always hope. That such a uplifiting statement. As long as you believe there is hope you will make it. I still occasionaly have nightmares about abuse in the past, but in some of the dreams I tell him just what I think of all he did to me and he doesn't lay a hand on me. It just takes time.
