There certainly is light in the end Jill. I have friends too that help me to cope with my life's struggles both in person and here at WDC. I am so glad that I have found this site, because I never even for a moment imagined the acceptance and advice I received while being a member here.
I now have some confidence in my life's struggles, and it is all due to the advice of many here who have opened their hearts and their minds.

Hey Wanda this is a very good story of a romance? in the making. Maybe? Hopefully? It seems that everytime Jenny feels that she can be where Max isn't he tends to show up. Isn't that just like a guy tho? (Giggles).
I like the way you portray your characters. They are unassuming, and down to earth, which makes them a joy to read. There could be a little more dialogue, but what there is of it, is realistic, because Jenny finally meets THE boy from high school whom she thinks hadn't noticed her, and he comes of as lame, when he talks to or about her. Nice reality touch.
But this hasn't been added to in a long time, and I am wondering if you deserted writing more, because this definitely has to be continued. I know I want to know more about Jenny and Max.

Even tho this is about a broken romance, I died too when my mother said goodbye. I know abandonement, loneliness, sadness, longing, but for my home.

The Slaem witch trials were a travesty on a young country. Everyone who died accused of being a witch were innocent. But those were very superstitious times, and the passage from the Bible "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" was taken to heart by many. It would be almost another 100 years before all witch persecutions stopped entirely. It is sad that people have to lie on others solely to get revenge or their own way. But what you say here IS historically correct, or as much as they would dare to print. Giles Corey was the only man ever accused of witchcraft and sentenced to die because of that accusation. So sad.
Today the Wiccans thrive in their covens as white witches, or witches who do good for the rights of innocent persons. I do not believe in witchcraft tho, but my witchcraft is in the Holy Father and His son Jesus who is our Lord and Savior.
Giles Corey was only one of many who were taken before the magistrate in the name of Jesus. I may be many things, and have done many things in my life, but I have no patience or respect for hypocrites.

And I have such a wall too. My wall is my fear of m en because of being brutally assualted both physically, sexually, and the emotionally too. Whenever a man comes anywhere near me, and there is not another woman near me, I freeze and then I get scared and then terrified.
The tools I have in place to tear that wall down is with my therapist who is working with me to help tear that wall down, but it will be a long while before that can happen.
I have never known true love, and only fear and terror have been my relationships. There are many things that I have to overcome first, and then work on tearing down my wall of safety.

Caren you are so right. We also know too that our sexuality and sexual identities are also formed in the brain as little as 7 weeks after conception. I believe that a baby becomes human as soon as it is conceived.
Mothers who want their unborn child aborted, and those who help her with that abortion, are killing a precious life. We were all given our right to live, and those who consider abortion should stop and think of what they are doing. They are actually taking a life, that God has decreed should be born and live, or else the fetus would no grow inside of the mother.
People, not God, choose to kill innocent lives, and this is horrible. Caren it is like I said in my survey; we are not judges or juries of our unborn children. They should be given the chance to live, just as we were given that same chance.
And what is with abortion anyway? There are so many couples in the world that cannot have children naturally, and their only hope to have a child to love and raise is adoption. If a girl or a woman does not want their unborn child, they should sign the child over to social services for adoption, not abortion.
I wanted to write more, but I'm crying now, because this senseless slaughter has got to stop. It just has to.

So true Darla. My wolf, was the state, and my mother the one who wouldn't come to my rescue. It is hard when you find yourself alone in the woods, and no one can hear you, or wants to hear you. My body can age, but I never can, because I have been denied my life by the one person who should have been there for me, no matter what. I was only 12½ years old, when the wolf devoured me.

I remember Lyndon Baines Johnson, and that appointment he made. At the time it was considered by some to be a "token" appointment. But LBJ was only following what John F. Kennedy had started. Even though Kennedy was shot in Dallas, and could not complete his civil rights program, LBJ took it up, and boy oh boy did he run with it, and of course, the rest is history...literally.
