Rules

Rules are made to be broken
or so it is often spoken
the truth is seldom a token
if discernment is thus awoken.

We’ve heard that the law’s a jackass
the blind cannot lead the blind
it’s the intent of the rule that matters
the one in which wisdom you’ll find.
