Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "Every one wants to write a blog entry using these words, okay all most everyone. ... ridicule, impostor, silk, banana, green, determined, and saturation. Have fun!"

I don't know that everyone wants to write a blog using these words but the sentiment came through. We have to watch using local slang in our wording because it misleads people. I get a lot of ridicule from my friends because of the slang I grew up with. I habitually use it and now I live three hours south of where I came from. People aren't used to some of my words. They call me an impostor from the north. I think I talk as smooth as silk but they sometimes disagree. In stead of saying banana I would say "nana". If I am refering to the color green I may say "keller green". I'm determined to learn to speak their dialect. I guess if I get enough saturation I eventually will.
