We can either Knock, knock, knock on heaven's door or the one to getting older. Hmm! I have decided to try to view aging in a positive light. Yeah, the body deteriorates as we age. That's not too fun, but if every day is a gift and a new adventure. Then why not embrace it? Just saying.

Knocking on 50's door!

I remember taking my oldest son when he was not quite one for breakfast. He grabbed the milk and when I went to reach for it he threw it. The man in the next booth wasn't amused at all. The man yelled and my son cried every time after that when we go to McDonalds. We've had many different experiences over the years with our children and our grandchildren.

Blog Prompt: When it comes to sin and good deeds too, do you think your motives are important? Does God take it into consideration when you are judged for your works on Earth? Why?

I think God definitely considers the motive of the heart even more so than the action itself. I believe he is more concerned with the matters of the heart than anything physical.

Prayer prompt: Pray that the heart of those involved in witchcraft would be turned toward God and they would repent of their sins to Follow Christ.

On this day in 1940 Richard and Maurice McDonald open the 1st McDonald's restaurant in San Bernardino, California
Hard to believe it's been around 85 years!
How old were you when you first went to a McDonalds? What was your favorite item on the menu? Do you still go to McDonalds?

I don't remember my first trip to McDonald's. I know it was after 1976 when I was born. I've always loved the chicken nuggets. I occasionally still eat there when I need a quick and less expensive meal.

This is a true statement, I think. We never know what the other person is experiencing. I keep things to myself even when it comes to my best friend. She won't know until later when I feel like I can tell her that I was even trying to process something, even things from the past. Sometimes there are layers of hurt and it takes layers of forgiveness and acceptance. Sometimes I think I've processed something, then another layer is revealed and here we go again. You just never know what someone else is going through.
