Encounter
As I was going up the stair,
I met myself but wasn’t there,
a phantom me was going down,
though clothed instead in other gown.
I paused to watch her still descend
and she in turn around did bend;
I never saw a face so fair
as I saw then upon that stair.

Posterity
We are all offshoots
little bits broken off
scattered like chaff
creating our roots.
We are all reboots
writing our lives
on separate drives
similar our fruits.
