For WDCs 11th birthday party! Write a story in 11 lines.

Happy Birthday - 1



This is a quick little contest to help celebrate Writing.com's birthday.


Rules are simple:


*CandleB* Write a story. Complete. That means character growth must be involved.

*CandleO* Use dialogue only. Short, succinct tags are allowed, but only for character clarification, not for story telling.

*CandleG* ELEVEN lines of dialogue. No more. No less.

Easy enough, right? Okay, a few minor notes, as well:


*BulletB* Please post directly within the forum, with your story title as the subject.

*BulletR* One story per entrant

*BulletG* Stay within the forum's ASR rating.

**Note: no prompt! subject is your choice**



Ready... Set... GO! (Well, go starting September 1st and stop after September 7th) Oops! I got swamped and can't judge yet, so I'm adding another week to the contest! Keep going on through September 14th! Thanks for all the great entries!
