(Writer's note: I modified it a bit but Mari is an adult like Shinji and the rest of the gang.)
Commander Misato was looking through some reports as Shinji was being worked on at the hanger. Since Shinji couldn't leave his evangelion as it was his own heart. Asuka could do nothing but watch along with Rei Treis and Mari. Mari was hugging Asuka from behind.
"Don't worry princess, I'm sure they'll work something out for Puppy." Mari said.
"That's not what I'm worried about Cat girl. I'm more worried about his Eva since it's his own heart." Asuka said blantly.
Mari rubbed her face against Asuka.
"I'm sure Shinji will be fine. He can take care of himself." Rei Treis said in monotone.
Meanwhile, Rei Treis detects something entering the Earth's atmosphere.
"There's something coming!"yelled Rei Treis. She had communication with her three other clones who were in Evas in orbit. Rei Quadtre, Rei Cinco and Rei Sais.
The alarms blared as everyone was scrambling along with Rei Treis, Asuka and Mari.
"Alert level 4! It may look like a meteorite but I have a feeling it's an extra terrestrial!" Misato yelled through the mike. She looked at Rei Treis as she was riding on a cable, going upwards to her Eva. Rei nodded which meant it was an alien. Shinji couldn't be deployed yet due to complications with his EVA due to it being his heart.
Mari with her pink EVA-05, Asuka with her EVA-02, Rei Treis with her EVA-00a and Toni with his EVA-04 ran towards the epicenter where the alien landed.
It landed near "Lilith’s Chronostatic Sphere.†There was dust surrounding them, making visibility nigh!
"How I wish Ritsuko was here to see this." Misato said to herself as they waited for a clear view of the alien.
"What is that?" Toji asked as he was both stunned and confused at what he was seeing.
"You've got to be kidding me. There's an alien like that?!?" Asuka yelled in shock.
"The space is vast, Asuka." Rei Treis said.
"What she said princess. Though this is the first time we've dealt with an actual alien. Better than dealing with renegades who are still working on the Human Instrumentality Project." Mari followed up.
As the dust cleared, Misato got a good look at what landed near Lilith's Chronostatic Sphere.
"What is that?!?" Misato mutter as everyone else watching was in shock.
