"Hmm, I feel funny," muttered his mother. "What are in these things anyway?"
"Uh, peppermint and..."
Alex's voice trailed as he observed a rising lushness in his mother's face. It appeared as if her already tight button shirt was constricting even more on her body. She fanned herself as she started to noticeably grow in both height and weight. Thankfully, she had sat down at this point, so she didn't apparently notice her changes. The chair creaked under her increasing mass.
"I feel...Bloated," she said as the top button of her blouse popped open. "I think I'm having an allergic reaction to those candies."
"Wow...," Alex gawked as his mother's expanding form. "Uh, mom, maybe you should go lay down."
Another button came undone and her cleavage bounced into full view. She looked bigger and wider overall and had probably gained a few inches in height, just as Alex had when he consumed the candy. Despite being taller, she looked as if she had gained 100 pounds, most of which went to her already large breasts and thighs. Alex only just realized that her pants button had torn, causing her muffin top to flow over her waistline.
"Yes, lay down," she muttered. "Though I'm really hungry all of a sudden..."
She struggled to get out of the chair and all the floorboards creaked as she waddled into the living room. Alex took the opportunity to make for his room and dropped his pack and the bag of candies down on the bed.
"Whoa," he whispered. "I hadn't even thought about eating more than one of them!"
He stared at the candy bags, taunting him with its magical properties. He had just been using the sweets for skipping school that he hadn't bothered to experiment with them.
"I wonder what would happen if I ate more than one. Or if I ate two reds?"
Curiosity overtook Alex as his expanded mother cooked dinner downstairs. He wanted to mix and match a little, but which combination would he try first?
