Lincoln decided that his best chance was to get as close to Sid's monumental face as possible so she could see him with her own eyes. He ran right up in front of her face until he was literally right under her nose, where he could see directly into her cavern-like nostrils. But that was hardly a concern for him at the moment as he tried once again to create lots of noise and motion to make the giant-sized girl notice him.
Still, it seemed like it was still no use as Sid's eyes never even seemed to glance down towards his location. But something else did happen. Lincoln found himself being lifted up into the air by some kind of powerful suction force before plopping back down to the floor. It turned out to be Sid's giant nose sniffing the air around her.
"Gosh. It sure is dusty under here," Sid's voiced boomed in Lincoln's tiny ears. She gave another great big sniff that pulled Lincoln all the way up to her nose. Rather than getting stuck inside one of Sid's nostrils, however, he managed to contort himself in a way that made him come to rest right on top of her nose.
Lincoln felt a sense of satisfaction as he believed that surely this would be the most perfect spot for the titanic girl to finally notice him. After all, how could she possibly not see him when he was literally right in front of her eyes?
