Miles would be lying if he said he wasn’t intimidated by Gwen’s size. He kept having to look up while she mumbled and shook her head back and forth, slowly approaching the bed before her. Her steps made the ground shake, but the tiny Spidey remained balanced though backed up for his safety. It was a good idea since one of her shoes landed where he once stood before Gwen fell face forward to her bed.
She managed to put some effort into pulling herself up and lying in a more comfortable position. She clearly needed this, she already had a rough time being the hero in this city even when it was thankfully normal levels of crime that she had to deal with. Clearly she wasn’t so used to the more high threat level villains that roam around 616.
“Okay, that’ll make things a lot easier. Thanks.” Miles had some hope he can get her attention easily. While the chances of her staying still were a little slim, he had some confidence and it was better than having none at all. He launched a web up the side of his bed and swung for it. It wouldn’t take too long for him to make it to the top even if he had to watch for the weird uneven form of the blankets around him.
He made it to the top a little faster than he expected, although he still had an obstacle to get past: Gwen’s hand. It was big enough to completely crush him with just one of her fingers and took up most of his vision. He didn’t try to worry too much even when one of them slightly moved, the giant wasn’t completely pulled into a slumber just yet.
Hopefully Gwen knows someone who can help me with my size problem.” He muttered while his brain came up with a small solution to getting over Gwen’s hand. “Otherwise I’m gonna be the only tiny spider in the group.” There’d be constant jokes about it spread amongst others, and it wouldn’t have been appealing in the slightest.
Miles kicked his plan into action, a very simple one at that. He jumped and landed right onto Gwen’s pinkie finger before leaping again. It wasn’t too hard to jump from each digit, though who knows if she might’ve felt any of his landings. If she did, then there were gonna be issues, though thankfully none had appeared for now.
Finally Miles landed down on the mattress again where Gwen’s sleeping head awaited him. Her ears were hidden away behind her blonde hair, but he knew it was a straight shot forward. He just had to climb right in and shout at her ear drum. No way can he be stopped now.
Will anything stop him however?
1). Miles manages to make it to Gwen without anything bad happening to him. The hard part might be over, but he still had to solve this size problem.
2). Suddenly Gwen decided to roll in her bed, her head managing to land on top of Miles. Unfortunately for him, all he see is her massive hairs all over his face.
3). Gwen felt the slight bit of tapping from Miles, confusing him for some insect. She had no time for this, so she was gonna have to sweep him away. Miles could end up back at the start or an even bad place.
