After leaving his town and traveling deep in the forest, A young Jesse crouches down and hides behind a nearby tree. “Today’s the day I catch that sucker!” A young Jesse mutters while reaching into his bag and grabbing a Pokeball.
The Pokemon he was going to catch was none other than Lucario, who was sitting down while his arms were stretched out, he was quietly meditating and didn’t notice a thing. Compared to other Lucario’s this one was significantly larger than normal, being around 12 feet, over double Jesse’s actual height, which was definitely a rare sight for the lad.
Jesse would be very underprepared for catching Pokemon however. He only had 3 Pokeballs in his bag and no starter pokemon either. In fact he wasn’t a qualified trainer yet. That wasn’t going to stop him though. “Welp here goes nothing!” Jesse whispers, reeling himself back a bit before throwing the red and white ball at the Giant, Bipedal Fighting-Type.
Lucario lets out a small grunt, sensing something coming his way. The Jackal-like pokemon instinctively gets up, turns his body around and deflects the pokeball with just an arm. Said Pokeball was reflected back towards the poor boy and before Jesse knew it, The tiny ball had struck him right in the face.
“Agh!” Jesse yells in pain before falling onto the grass. He grabs his face, feeling the pain inflicted from that ball. As he rubs his face to soothe the pain, he hears the sound of footsteps approaching him accompanied by a loud growl.
After uncovering his face and sitting up, Jesse's heartbeat get faster and his eyes are on the verge of popping out of his head when he sees the 12 foot creature. Lucario was looking down at him with his piercing red eyes and a grin that felt unsettling to the young boy. “O-Oh uh…, hey there…” Jesse gulps as the jackel-like creature continues looking at him. “Please don’t kill me.” was all the boy could mutter, not knowing what this Lucario was going to do with him.
