The Ruins

Valery decided they would check out the Ruins where this sorceress lived. Meanwhile, Jasmine explained what she learned about it.

"The sorceress was part of a party that explored the Ruins of this island. She learned about the people who lived there. They had learned to use magic, even curses, to defend themselves from anyone who would wish to harm them. When the sorceress learned enough, she used her knowledge and magic on her own people. She then used it on neighbouring islands, taking their food, gold, even their people. No one could stop her, until one day, she disappeared. The people who have gone there since have found nothing of value."

Despite that however, the idea of hidden richs had Valery excited. She knew there had to be something there. When she finds it, it will be all hers. Everyone will know her name.

After an hour, Valery and her crew arrived at their destination. All along the island were large ruins, remnants of the people who lived here. Who knows what was hidden.

When they were close enough, the crew docked on a nearby beach. Valery ordered them to stay back, while she and Jasmine left.
