I loved it. Really neat, good grammar, sweet recollections written in a fond way. It is short and sweet. No bitterness, which is often found in memory-type stories.

I really connected with the bit which said, "(The girls) run screaming into their houses frantically brushing their hair with both hands. I'll never understand girls." Even though I'm a girl, I don't understand girls either!!!! Don't worry, you aren't the only one!
