This is pretty. Angels rejoice when we find our Father. We all rejoice when we become reborn. Something might happen along the way that turns us away from the path. We know it's wrong and we know we are lost. So we cry. We cry to Him for forgiveness. Soon the cleansing rain from Heaven comes down to fall upon us and fill us with The Spirit again. Do angels become sad and are their tears within the rain? My heart tells me yes.

She learned a lot from this last relationship. Most of all she learned how to feel pain. She also knows she has to carry on by herself. Being left behind is heartbreaking but one has to deal with it. All the invested time in what turned out to be an illusion created by a 'sweet talker'.
She is strong but admits when she is all alone she misses the lover.

I really like this. It tells us that life won't be easy but with faith and the knowledge that God is with us, we will make it. There must be tears to appreciate the laughter. There must be struggles to appreciate the good things in life. We see the blessed day after the sacred night. Always knowing He is near.
This is a piece full of faith and reassurance.

This is sad. Does one still love when the love isn't returned? Does one still hope when it seems there is no hope? Does one put the feelings aside or hide them deep within? As this piece suggests love goes on whether it is returned or not. For the heart to forget is like telling the heart to stop beating.

A lonely kitten finds a home but it might be temporary. As hard as the family tries the kitten is so adorable to all. Time passes and still the family thinks; we don't really need a cat. Much to their surprise, this little kitten is needed and has enough love to go around. Sure she might act a bit independent but that is the way they are. When it come to snuggling, nothing says thank you like a soft purr.

It seems life has a way of going full circle. As in this piece she started out alone and with the passing of her love she is alone again. She has so many memories. A truck will cause them to come crashing back. The most important and blessed part of all this circle of life is that right in the middle she had someone to love her. She may feel alone at times but deep down inside nothing can replace that love wrapped around her heart.
This is sad and touching.

Here we have a young person being put down by someone. Nothing bothers me as much as hearing the young person believe that blather coming out of their mouth. We all are different. Each have are gifts from God. Each are special in our own way. To let someone take that internal confidence away is tragic. Some say it's just words but those words hurt and do damage.
By the end of the piece the character has the attitude she is nothing. For Pete sake leave her alone and you will see she will shine brighter every day.

Our author reminds us that often times we want what we don't have. It seems like human nature to be that way. In this piece he uses a bridge and how on each side is different and how each yearns to have what the other has. Are you a bridge/human with desires for more or are you content with what blessings you have? Give it a read or two. There is a lot of wisdom in here. Just think about it and realize your life doesn't have to be in a constant state of being dissatisfied.

A poem about a mother is found here tonight. A heartfelt and touching piece indeed. Showing how a mother can be gentle and protective. She will fight to help the child to stay on the right path. Those hands forgive and praise. A mother is always looking out for her child no matter how grown up.
I am a mother and this really makes me feel good. I hope my children think of me that way.

Life isn't an easy road. We might find ourselves on the wrong path. We depend on ourselves to lead us back. Instead we find we are more and more lost in the darkness. We need to find the light and the way to do that is to turn to God. Take hold of the faith inside you. It might be hidden behind dark images but you can still find it. Once the light of God is inside you He will never leave you. You need to call on Him. Lay your burdens down to Him and surrender your prideful attitude.

It is easy to understand if a person hesitates about a relationship. Especially if they have been hurt before. As our character wrestles with this in her mind; she is tempted but not foolish. She has had to learn to protect her heart and not give it away so quickly. She doesn't make her feelings known simply to avoid going down the save vulnerable path as before. At this time it appears the other person isn't getting any clues yet. Perhaps more time is needed on her part. Maybe getting to know this other person better is the way to go.

Here we have a beautiful dog with a personality that gets on her owners nerves. I bet with all her irritations she is a really good huntress.
I remember where I use to live that coonhounds are common but a bluetick is rare. Look at those great big brown eyes. She is laying there looking so innocent but I bet when it comes hunting time she is number one.

Now, this was an adventure in the making. Unfortunately our character didn't realize it until on the way to the new home. Cats are independent creatures and don't like to be in water or a moving object. Well, considering they were moving on the freeway and angry little snots; I am surprised our character survived the ordeal. Just try to imagine all those cats moving about while the car was moving. I think I would have needed to be hospitalized afterward. Apparently they are safe and sound in the back room of the new house. Pray for our character when the door to that room is opened for the first time. Will they be snots or purry little snuggle bugs? Your guess is as good as mine.

Good job with this

This is so cute. A little boy pretends to be a cowboy all day long. He uses his rocking horse to get him around. Round up the cattle and depending on his mom for chuck wagon meal. Wieners makes him happy cause it's been a long hard day on the trail.
I use to have two cowboys myself. Brings back good memories. Thank you.

In this piece we find a person taking responsibility for saying something hurtful to someone earlier in the day. It is a good sign of character to say your sorry when you know it was you in the wrong. Owning up to what you did is something we are taught when children but once we become an adult; we sometimes let pride stand in the way.

Special moments like this, is what we remember when our kids grow and move on. A little boy sees a rainbow and naturally calls for his mom to come and see it too. Sharing that beautiful sight is a together moment.

I like this piece because I like rainbows and the feelings of peace one gets from them. All the colors and the fact that it seems to just hang in midair by invisible stings. They are indeed a blessing to those looking on.

The streets feel empty, yet are full of strangers. The city is merely an unfriendly environment to exist in. Our character has something to help keep going back at the hotel room. To find a sad surprise and shock; that someone is gone. Leaving just a note behind. What can be done now but remember and wish. To share a moment together again. This is a piece about an emergency surgery. The mother and baby are at risk. The doctors use all their skills and bring it to a good conclusion. I believe the point of this piece is to remind us that Doctors and hospital staff are people too. They all have families and become frightened for them and need to give them comfort. If they seem detached to a patient it is merely to keep a clear head to do what needs to be done to save a life.

Our author brings us a really outlandish piece about how our politicians carry out their business. The president took an aspirin and it becomes news. All the different news stations carry the mind boggling information. The sad part is that this is so typical of how nothing substantial gets done in Washington. Dwelling on something, wasting countless hours of time, making a mockery of our leaders and representatives simply by their actions.
This is an excellent, be it a bit extreme, look at what is news worthy. The world literally is falling apart around us and we place importance on an aspirin. Will there be a senate hearing to look forward to?

Well, just reading this made me tired. I remember having so much on my plate and having to keep up with everything. Some days it seems like there just isn't enough hours or enough energy to make it. Everybody needs something but the only one who gets no attention is yourself. Basically, one must put our needs on
hold or on the bottom of the list of importance for now and years to come. Sometimes it's like meeting yourself coming up and down the same staircase at the same time.

It started as a shopping trip, with not much going on. Before long the temptation of listening in takes hold. Our gentleman finds the conversation quite amusing. Now, I must admit this is a doozy. You got me good. Laughing out loud in a house all alone(except my dog) might warrant investigation.

Even Frost would forget the promises to keep and the miles before he sleeps.

We have two men and a bottle of wine. One seems to think the other has had a bit too much. The conversation moves to objects and how they want to be free and not slaves of man. Their discussion runs from ice cubes to sock etc. Granted I wouldn't want to be on some sticky feet or kept in a pocket or purse like keys. One must wonder, how they opened the wine? Was the corkscrew present or did it run away?
Interesting piece.

Our author reminds us how life runs full circle.
We start out as children and when we become aged we are regarded and treated like children again. The difference, in my opinion, is the aged adult is sometimes considered a bother. The child, on the other hand, is certain to grow out of his childish ways and be productive and self sufficient.

She is alone in the car as it moves along. The music is playing on the radio. She is tapping her feet. She doesn't know she is being watched from the back floorboard of the car. Hidden well and eagerly awaiting the right time to strike her. She can't see but it can. Thinking how lovely her legs are. Soon it makes it's move.

Will she make it to her destination?
Will her stalker over power her and inflicted harm?
Creepy just thinking how easily this could happen.
