| Deuteronomy 27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statues, which I command thee this day. While traveling down the interstate one day, I came across a sign with the message, Missed Call, God Called. What a strong message. It made me wonder, how many times God had tried to call me. How many times has He tried to reach me, and gotten no answer or response. It amazes me that we expect just the opposite of God. When we need something, we want Him to answer us right away. We need to remember this next time, when God is trying to guide us in a certain direction. Let us open our ears and hearts, and listen to God’s voice. To let Him be our Guide in life. To let Him light our path. Let us be willing to answer, when God has a job for us to do. I never want to be guilty of missing His call. Let us not be guilty of refusing to answer God’s call. Let us never be to busy to talk to our Father in heaven. Answer God’s Call Dear Father, let us never be to busy, to answer Your call Let us make it the most important thing of all Father, Your call let me never ignore My needs You always care for I pray that Your request of me, is never met with resistance Every need I have, You have always given Your assistance Let me listen unto Your voice To work for You and rejoice Father, let me never miss Your call Without You I would truly fall Father, always lead my direction Your will never let me question Let the missed call message be removed My direction in life, by You always approved |
| Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Sometimes Satan is such a bully. He makes us doubt so many things in our life. Satan points out everything we have done wrong. Then he tempts us with all sorts of temptations. That is when we have to remember, that God stands between us and our enemy. When we remember that God is for us, He is eternally stronger than our temptations. God keeps us from falling into Satan's pit. If God be for us, who can be against us? So let us always remember when Satan tries to sift us like flour, God can and will intervene on our part. He will take care of the bully Satan, that tries to place doubt in our minds. No matter what we go through God will lead us in all we do No matter what stumbling block, Satan throws in our path God will intervene and soon Satan, won't be able to laugh God will guide our every step He is with us, in His arms we are kept God will shelter us from the storm In His arms we can stay cozy and warm Many times Satan places us full of doubt Out of Satan's grips God will pull us out I don't know what today may hold I know that God will take care of my soul No matter what troubles we face God will put Satan in his place |
| Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. If one thing is for sure that is the promise of God, that He will never leave us. He is dependable, reliable, and trustworthy. No matter what we may face, God will be at our side all the way. Sometimes we feel like we can not face another obstacle in our life. With God's direction and loving care we can make it through anything. Just remember when we feel that we are about to fall, God in Heaven will be there to catch us. He watches over us and knows every problem we encounter. If we go to Him in prayer and depend on Him we will always come out winners. God will be by our side long after friends and family have given up on us. He doesn't see us as a lost cause. He loves us and wants to draw us close to Him. He wants to hold us in His arms, we just have to be willing to give Him control. If you feel completely alone, go to God in prayer, He cares and loves us so much. Never think that you are completely alone, because God is always right beside you. God knows when you are suffering from a broken heart, He knows that you have lost your job, He knows that your gas and electric bill are due. If you just go to Him in prayer and tell Him your needs He will provide. He knows our needs before they even arise. God will be there when no one else will. He is in our life for the long haul. He will be there in our darkest hour. Because that is a promise He made. When God makes a promise you can depend on Him. Even when others turn their back on you, Jesus will be the best Friend you will ever find. So we are never alone. God loves us, that is why He sent His only Son Jesus Christ. So that we could be drawn closer to Him. Lord I know that I can count on You You see all the things that I go through Through You I will have complete victory Only because Jesus set my soul free I know the problems in my life You can defeat Your love is supreme, it can not be beat I will hold fast and tight to Your hand So one day You can lead me to the Promise land Father, I know that I am never alone You are with me always, till I come home When I cross over Jordan one day You will be there to lead the way Father, guide our every step today Show us what do along the way |
| Luke 11:9-10 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. When we go to God in prayer, earnestly believing that He will provide our needs He will provide. God knows our every need and He will always provide.One thing we have to remember is God will answer in His time. Just remember that we may have to request something more than once. Sometimes we have let God know our hearts desire. Now one thing that we need to be sure to do, is examine ourselves when we ask for something in prayer. To make sure that we are not being greedy, and to make sure it is something we truly need. We also need to remember to give God the praise and glory for all the blessings that we receive daily. When God answers our request look up to heaven and say Thank You Father. We also need to tell others what God has done for us. Give examples of all the great things God has done in our lives. God has given us a home to live in, food to eat, cars to drive, a lawn mower to mow the grass. He provides the funds to pay our bills. I have been earnestly praying for something, when God answers that prayer I will be sure to write a blog entry on that subject. To give our Father in Heaven all the praise and glory. God has granted healing for loved ones in the last few months. When the doctors had given up all hope, God stepped in and showed His healing power Praise His Holy Name! Father, when we come to You in prayer We know that You hear, and You care You provide everything we could ever need You listen to our prayer as to You we plead You our needs before they are ever spoken You comfort our hearts when they are broken You provide food, shelter, and our basic needs Father, Thank You, You are so awesome indeed Father, I never want to be greedy, only to ask for what we need My greatest desire is to tell the world of Jesus Christ and His great deed That He died for all sinners, and arose on the Third Day To save all sinners that believe in Him and follow His way |
| Psalm 119:11 11.Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Many times in our lives, we think we are completely on the right track. Everything is going good, and we have what we think is the perfect life. Somewhere along the line, everything falls apart. We lose our job, and fall behind on all our bills. Life is no longer a walk in the park. We are experiencing times when everything is so uncertain. We have trouble balancing our budget, and wonder how in the world we will buy groceries. That is when we must take a long look at our life. Are we headed in the right direction? Are we on the path that God would have us to follow? We get comfortable in our life, and slack on many things. Like keeping in touch with God daily in prayer. Reading our bibles we put on the back burner. We need to keep God in first place, then everything else will fall into place. Not just when everything goes wrong do we need to go to God in prayer. We need to talk with Our Father in Heaven daily. God supplies and meets our every need. We need to sing God's praise daily. To Thank Him for every blessing that He has provided.There will be struggles and trials in our life, things will go wrong. God is there everyday to see us through what ever we may face. Let us read our bibles daily to stay close to God. To hide His words within our hearts, to help lead us the way God would have us be. Father, I know that I am weak Your guidance I truly seek I know that we fail You and sin Only through Jesus can we win Help me place Your word in my heart From Your wisdom let us never depart Father, from Your loving ways let us learn To worship and praise You our heart should yearn Father, we want You to lead the way we need to go Our destination only You can truly know If we are in a place and You need us to move Let us be willing to go and Your love to others prove Father, place us in the direction we are to follow We leave You in charge today and tomorrow |
| 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. Just as this verse states we have every reason to praise God each and everyday. He brought us out of darkness, as followers of Jesus Christ we are truly blessed. We need to tell the world daily of all that God has done for us. Each and everyday to thank Jesus for taking our sins to the cross, and for dying for all the lost. Just the other day I was driving down the road and my check engine light came on. The beeping sound to let me know something was wrong kept going off. We have had the car four years and never had the check engine light come on. I looked down at the temperature light and it was right where it should be. I turned around and headed home, it was just one mile away. I prayed for God to let me get the car home safely. I prayed that it would not die in the middle of the road on me. God seen me home safely and I blew the horn for my husband to come out and see what was wrong. When he raised the hood, he checked the oil and there was no oil on the dipstick at all. I told him that the oil light had never come on. He said it hadn't when he drove it to the doctors office earlier. We then went to get oil to put in the car, praying on the way for God to let the engine not be blown. I prayed Lord we really need the car to get us back and forth, please don't let any damage be done to the car. After my husband put the four quarts of oil in the car, yes it took all four quarts, he started the car and the check engine light went off. The next morning we took the car to the garage, and they found that the oil sending unit had broke. It is very rare that this happens, but God heard our prayers and answered right then. He is the greatest mechanic of all. He fixed the car to where it didn't destroy the engine. He is truly awesome, He hears our every prayer no matter how big or small, He hears them all. God answers and I praise Him for that. He loves us so much, look for more praise reports in the coming days. What has God done for you? Give Him the praise and glory for all that He has done, share your praise reports with others. May God bless you all greatly, keep us in your prayers. Give Praise To God Dear Lord, I praise You for bringing me into Your light For taking me out of darkness, to where Your love is bright You are my reason for being, to bring praise to Your holy name You love me no matter what the day, Your love is always the same You have blessed us greatly, and continue to everyday You are awesome Father, that is one thing that I can truly say You hear our prayers and come to help us along the way You take care of our problems every single day No matter what we may face, You are there by our side You are there and You will always be our pilot and guide I will praise Your name and tell others of what You have done for me Including sending Your only Son Jesus Christ to set us free Let me show my praise reports with the others I may meet So that they can see that You Father make our life complete I praise you Lord and Thank You for all that You have done Praise You Father, and Thank You for sending Your only Son |
| Psalm 121:5-8 5 The LORD is thy keeper : the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. I want to thank everyone of our soldiers who are currently serving in the armed forces protecting our country and I want to salute the ones who gave their life for their country, and for our freedom, they made the ultimate sacrifice so you and I can be free. I want to thank all of our veterans who have served our country during their lifetime and send a big thank you for your service and sacrifice and thank them for the service that they have provided to keep us free. My Prayer for our Soldiers and Their Families Dear God in Heaven keep our soldiers safe, wrap them in your arms Dear Father in Heaven protect them from all harm See them safely home,When all danger from the enemy is gone Dear Lord in Heaven, put an armor around our soldiers and watch over them day and night Whether they are serving in the U.S. or in another country Lord let your light for them shine bright Be with our soldiers when the enemy is drawing near and Lord wipe away their every tear Keep them safe from all the storms that surround them in the battle field Keep them in your arms Dear Father and be their shield Be with the families that wait for their loved ones to come home Fill them with your love so they know they are not alone Be with the children and rock them in your arms Jesus when they can't understand why daddy and mommy aren't home for the Christmas season. Dear Father in Heaven be with the families who loved ones will not return home And let us be thankful for the bravery these soldiers have shown Be with the broken heart that must go on even though the soldiers they love are gone Let love and laughter return to their homes I want to thank the soldiers who are serving now, and I want to thank the soldiers who served many years before I want to thank the all the soldiers who have ever went off to war Because it was all of our freedom they are fighting for Dear Lord in Heaven be with us and keep our country strong Because without your love Dear Father in Heaven our country could never make it on it's own.Amen Thank you to all of our soldiers and to their families who carry on in their absence. | Psa 34:1 ΒΆ [[[A Psalm] of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.]] I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psa 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. Psa 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psa 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psa 34:5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. Psa 34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. Psa 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psa 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. The verses above show just how awesome God's power is. He took David's situation and used it for His glory. He delivered David out of captivity, with no harm done unto David. No matter what enemy we may face, God will make a way for us to go through every trying event. If we will let Him, He can use each trial in our life for His glory. Like David, let us cry out day and praise God's holy name. Let us tell the world of all that He has done in our life. All the storms that have raged, but God has calmed them all. That when the sea of sorrow and heart break was about to swallow us up, God came to our rescue. Let us tell everyone how much God loves us. All the many blessing that we have been given. Of course let us not boast, let us praise God and give Him all the glory. For without God I would have nothing, absolutely nothing. I praise God today for sending Jesus to save this sinners soul. I Thank God for loving us, to send Jesus to die in our place. Today, I am Thankful that God took mercy on every sinner, to make a way that all could be saved. By believing that Jesus Christ is God's only Son, and by accepting Jesus into our heart, and repenting of our sins, we can have eternal life. God can deliver us out of the most darkest times of our life, if we will just ask Him too. We are never alone, He will carry us through every trial, no matter what we may face. Lord, Thank You for all the blessing that we have received On Jesus Christ Your only Son we have believed Father, in You we place our complete trust To overcome life's obstacles it is a must Your love and mercy are so appealing Your power You are still revealing Your presence in my life, how I love this feeling Lord, on my knees, let me be found kneeling Thanking You daily for everything All my days Your praises let me sing Today, Father, Thank You for the heat that keeps us warm Thank You Father, for sheltering us through every single storm |
| John 3:16-17 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Today, I received an email titled Heaven's court. This is the content below, I am using this as my blog entry today. I do not know who the author is. If anyone knows please let me know and I will post their name. I think these verses above say it all, that Jesus came to die for our sins, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Isn't is great to know that Jesus will be our defense on Judgment Day. He is awesome, and love us so much. Praise God for sending His only Son to save us. After living what I felt was a 'decent' life, my time on earth came to the end. The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house. The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table. As I looked around I saw the 'prosecutor.' He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me. He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen. I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney, a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him. The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes.. He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room. I couldn't take my eyes off of Him. As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, 'Let us begin.' The prosecutor rose and said, 'My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this man belongs in hell.' He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and In the past when I cheated others. Satan told of other horrible Perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank. I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten about. As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not offering any form of defense at all. I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some good in my life - couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm I'd done? Satan finished with a fury and said, 'This man belongs in hell, he is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise.' When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench. The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward. As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty. I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus representing me, my Lord and my Savior. He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, 'Hi, Dad,' and then He turned to address the court. 'Satan was correct in saying that this man had sinned, I won't deny any of these allegations. And, yes, the wages of sin is death, and this man deserves to be punished.' Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms and proclaimed, 'However, I died on the cross so that this person might have eternal life and he has accepted Me as his Savior, so he is Mine.' My Lord continued with, 'His name is written in theBook of Life, and no one can snatch him from Me. Satan still does not understand yet. This man is not to be given justice, but rather mercy.' As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, 'There is nothing else that needs to be done..' 'I've done it all.' The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down. The following words bellowed from His lips.. 'This man is free. The penalty for him has already been paid in full. 'Case dismissed.' As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, 'I won't give up, I will win the next one.' I asked Jesus as He gave me my instructions where to go next, 'Have you ever lost a case?' Christ lovingly smiled and said, 'Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them has received the same verdict as you, ~Paid In Full~' 'Stop telling God how big your storm is. Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!' |
| Psalms 31:19 19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! I want to take the time everyday, and reflect on all that God has done and continues to do. I want to take the time to Thank Him daily, for all He has done in our life. My praise to God today is to Thank and Praise Him for letting me wake up to see another beautiful day, that He has created. To Thank Him for my wonderful family and friends. I am so blessed and many times take for granted all that God has graciously given me. I could never ever repay Him, I just want to say that I love our Father God In Heaven He is AWESOME! My number one praise to God is for sending His only Son Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. My number two biggest is that Jesus arose on the THIRD DAY. God's love is so perfect. Father, Thank You for letting me see another day To start the day anew, and to walk in Your way Thank You for my wonderful family, I have been given I want to sing Your praise, as long as I am living Father, Thank You for the morning sun For I know another day has truly begun Thank You Father, for Your love,mercy, and grace That in Your Kingdom, one day we will have a place Father, Thank You for loving me, even though I am not worthy Thank You, for sending Jesus, to cleanse me when I was dirty Thank You Father, for loving me even when I do wrong Thank You Father, for Your love, helping us to remain strong Thank You Father, for carrying us when we could not go on With You Father, we have a True Friend, we are never alone |
