Psalm 150:6
Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD, Praise ye the LORD.

Let us give praise to God everyday. He bestows so many blessings in our lives. He carries us through the roughest storms of life. No matter what our situation, God is always by our side. No matter what we do, no matter how many times that we fail Him. God is always true, He always takes care of me and you.
When the rest of the world thinks that we are of no use, God cleans us up and makes us shine like new. Thank You Father, for sending Your Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Praise Your Holy Name that HE AROSE ON THE THIRD DAY AND THAT JESUS LIVES TODAY. AMEN!

He Has Risen

Jesus was crucified for our sins
But that is where the story begins

There was no grave that could hold Him down
Our Savior arose, He is no longer in the ground

He arose on the third day
Mary appeared the stone was rolled away

Many grieved they thought Jesus was dead
But He arose, just like the bible said

Jesus arose and many witnessed seeing Him alive
Many couldn't believe, they wonder how He survived

He has risen, He lives today
He lives no matter what others say

One day Jesus will return to take us all home
Have you accepted Him,or will all your hope be gone?

Jesus has risen to save us, from satan and his burning fire
For you to be saved is Jesus' hearts desire

He went to the cross, but has now risen
To save you and I from satan's prison

Matthew 27: 1-31

When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people conferred together against Jesus in order to bring about his death. They bound him, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate the governor.

When Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. He said, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? See to it yourself." Throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself. But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, "It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since they are blood money." After conferring together, they used them to buy the potter's field as a place to bury foreigners. For this reason that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. Then was fulfilled what had been spoken through the prophet Jeremiah, "And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of the one on whom a price had been set, on whom some of the people of Israel had set a price, and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me."

Now Jesus stood before the governor; and the governor asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus said, "You say so." But when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he did not answer. Then Pilate said to him, "Do you not hear how many accusations they make against you?" But he gave him no answer, not even to a single charge, so that the governor was greatly amazed.

Now at the festival the governor was accustomed to release a prisoner for the crowd, anyone whom they wanted. At that time they had a notorious prisoner, called Jesus Barabbas. So after they had gathered, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release for you, Jesus Barabbas or Jesus who is called the Messiah?" For he realized that it was out of jealousy that they had handed him over. While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent word to him, "Have nothing to do with that innocent man, for today I have suffered a great deal because of a dream about him."

Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus killed. The governor again said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release for you?" And they said, "Barabbas." Pilate said to them, "Then what should I do with Jesus who is called the Messiah?" All of them said, "Let him be crucified!" Then he asked, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the more, "Let him be crucified!"

So when Pilate saw that he could do nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took some water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this man's blood; see to it yourselves."

Then the people as a whole answered, "His blood be on us and on our children!" So he released Barabbas for them; and after flogging Jesus, he handed him over to be crucified.

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the governor's headquarters, and they gathered the whole cohort around him. They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they put it on his head. They put a reed in his right hand and knelt before him and mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" They spat on him, and took the reed and struck him on the head. After mocking him, they stripped him of the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.

Jesus knew that the time was coming that He would be put to death. Can you imagine the anguish and heart break that He felt. He was beaten to where He couldn't be recognized. By His stripes we are healed. By Jesus dying on the cross,we can be saved. Through the blood He shed on Calvary, He gave eternal life to anyone who will believe upon Him and confess their sins. Praise God for His only Son and that He loved us so much. But that is just the beginning of the story because Jesus arose on the third day and He lives today. AMEN!

Romans 5:1-9
5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

As I read across these verses, it makes me realize that we would not have forgiveness, if Jesus Christ had not died for our sins. Jesus gives us hope, through our faith in Him. He died for our sins, let us rejoice daily and give praise to His name. He saved our soul from hell. Let us tell the world that we are forgiven, only because Jesus died on the cross for all sinners. Let us get busy telling the world about Jesus. There are many who don't have the hope that we have through Jesus Christ. There are many who do not know Jesus Christ. That through His blood their sins can be forgiven. That by accepting Him their debt has been paid. They don't have the peace of knowing if they died today, that their home in heaven is secured. Let us strive to get the message to the lost, that Jesus forgives our sins, when we accept and believe in Him. We are forgiven only because Jesus took our place. God had mercy on all sinners, and sent Jesus Christ as the only ATONEMENT for our sins.

Father, I Thank You, for the peace that we have been given
Our sins are white as snow, only because of Jesus are they forgiven

Only through Jesus Christ, are our sins forgiven
Let me tell this to the world as long as I am living

Let us strive to seek and find the lost
To tell them Jesus paid the ultimate cost

Let us tell them how Jesus can save them today
If they will just believe and accept Him all the way

Father, Thank You, for Your mercy, grace, and love
By You sending Jesus we can have a home above

It is nothing that we have done
It is only by God's only Son

Joshua 23:8
But cleave unto the LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day.

In this life we tend to try and stand, on our own two feet. We leave God out of daily decisions that we must make. We drift away sometimes from our heavenly Father. That is when we learn real fast, that we have lost our direction in life. We need to cleave unto God, not leave God out of everything. We need to seek His guidance in everything that we do. From the smallest to the biggest decisions. We need to seek God as our GPS system daily. We need to quit trying to find the right direction to follow. We need to let God show us the direction, and point the way that we are to go. God's plan for us is perfect, give Him complete control to guide your life. With God as our GPS system we will never be lost without help again. He will be there in the darkest of night. No matter where He leads us, God will be by our side all of the way. Let us include God in all areas of our life.

GPS

What direction is your life headed?
With problems is your life embedded?

Have you turned down a street that leads to a dead end?
You got lost because you have no GPS on which to depend

Have you found yourself stranded on a lonely dark road?
You have broken down from carrying such a heavy load

Have you found yourself at a cross road, and don't know where to turn?
For loving guidance for the right direction, does your heart truly yearn?

Let Jesus be your Guide, Protector, and Savior, unto Jesus cleave
He will guide your direction, and He will stay and never leave

Don't try to stand on your own two feet
With disaster we are bound to surely meet

Let Jesus be your GPS system all through life
He is the perfect one to Guide our Path to avoid strife

If you are not sure of the path you are to take
Accept Jesus as Your GPS it is the best decision you can make

Mark 1:17
And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

Jesus can make all of us great fishers. To share our story with someone who is lost. To reach out to others who may not know that Jesus died for all sinners. If we let Jesus lead the way, He will make us fisherman of some lost soul. The Holy Spirit will give us the words to say, we will never be grasping for what to say. Let us not stand by while family, friends,or acquaintances die lost. Let us be fisherman for Jesus, to be wading the waters to tell others of His saving grace. Let us get busy telling others why Jesus died for our sins on the cross, and to tell them He arose on the third day. I would hate to think, that because of my own laziness that a lost soul died without knowing Jesus. That at one time I was given the opportunity to tell them of the greatest love of all, and failed to equip them with the greatest story of all, Jesus' love. Let us pray daily for God to make us fisherman among men, so that He can lead and guide our path to the lost. That we may make a difference in one persons life. I guess to sum it all up, let us be fisherman for God. To try and reach the lost, and tell them there is a way to escape Satan's Hell pit.

Lord, I Want To Go Fishing

Lord, I want to go fishing for You
To tell the lost of Jesus in all I do

To the world I want to shout
Let Jesus cast Satan out

There are many lost souls
That are in Satan's dark hole

Now the fishing is so prime
To tell them of Jesus in time

That Jesus can rid them of Satan's claws
He can take away all their sins and flaws

Everyday as Christians our faith we are portraying
So let us go fishing for those lost souls that are delaying

Let not our fishing equipment become filled with rust
To tell the lost of Jesus that is a complete must

To tell them by accepting Jesus into their heart, it is their gain
He will make them white as snow, and remove every stain

That when everything in life has become to rough
Jesus' love will always be more than enough

Let us go fishing and make a connection
Telling the lost, that Jesus is their protection

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Jesus Christ.

We take so much for granted these days. God in heaven has supplied our every need, and many times we fail to give thanks unto Him. He provides us with food to eat, a place to live, shoes on our feet, a loving family, and most important of all, He gave His only Son to die for our sins. We need to be more thankful for all the many blessings that we have been given. We need to give God all the praise and glory for everything that we have. Our Father in heaven made it possible for us to wake up this morning to see another day. Let us focus and reflect on the things that we have been given, not to take for granted all the many things that God has blessed us with. When we think that we have covered all areas, let us take a second look.
By watching the news this week, I realize how much I take for granted. In the after math of hurricane Ike, so many people are without a home, food, shelter, and many have lost loved ones. We need to pray for all the people that have lost their homes, the ones that have no electric or food. To keep all the many thousands that have been displaced by this horrible event. I know that God will take care of them, for He knows their need. He will place them where He has a need. But we need to remember them daily in our prayers. We take the simplest blessings for granted. Let us be more thankful and give God the praise and glory for everything that we have been given. Let us not take one moment for granted, let us tell the world of what God has done in our lives. How He has removed many mountains, and provided for our every need. Let us show our gratitude to our Father in heaven. To sing a song of praise, or just to witness to others by telling what God has done in our lives. Let us tell the lost that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Let us show love to others, as God has shown His love to us. Let us tell the world that Jesus lives today. That He died for all sinners and arose on the Third Day. That it is all because of Jesus that we are alive. Here is the definition of thankful.
Thankful- feeling or showing of gratitude, showing appreciation.

Being More Thankful

Father, I take so much for granted that You give
Like taking another breath, and getting to live

It is only because of You that I woke up today
Let me remember to thank You for this when I pray

Father, You provide our every need regardless of what we do
I fail to thank You properly, I want to say Father, Thank You

Thank You Father, for Your Holy Word that You provide
Thank You Father, for always remaining by my side

Thank You Father for the food, shelter, and love that You give
I want to always sing Your praise, as long as I may live

I want to thank You for Your protection during the storm
To thank You for loving me, before I was even born

Thank You for the love of my family and friends
Thank You for Your wonderful love that has no end

Thank You for Your only Son dying for our sins
Accepting His love is when life truly begins

Thank You for the morning sun, to see the beauty of a new day
Let us tell the world about Jesus as we go about life's way

Thank You for Your strength that carries me when I am weak
Thank You for answering my prayers for things that I may seek

Father, Thank You for all the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us
Forgive me for being ungrateful, and in You let me always place all of my trust

Let me be thankful and to You show my gratitude
Let me show my appreciation with a happy attitude

To sing a song of praise to You throughout the day
Thanking You for Your mercy and grace along the way

Father, I could never thank You enough for all that You have done
Glory to Your name forever, for giving Your only begotten Son

Father, Thank You for the love that You so freely show
I am truly thankful, this I hope You truly know

Matthew 5:13
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under the foot of men.

When we accept Jesus we become a new person. We are so excited, we want to tell the whole world of the wonderful love of Jesus. We want to shout from the mountain tops, all that God has done for us. As time goes on sometimes we lose our flare, to go out and tell others about Jesus. We simply fall into a routine, and get lazy where God's work is concerned. Are you on fire for God? Are you lacking the excitement that you once felt? Let us get busy and pray to God, to renew that inner strength and desire to tell others of His only Son Jesus Christ. Let us pray for God to use us as a seasoning to touch the lives of others. Someone may be lost, let us pray that we can be a shining light for God. That someone may see something different in our lives that is missing in theirs. They may wonder what makes us so happy, and then we can share with them that it is the love of God. Let us be like salt added to a meal, it livens it up and meal is no longer bland. Let us pray that God can use us, as a pleasant seasoning to do His work.

Keep On The Firing Line

Father help me to tell others of Your love
To tell the lost about Jesus above

To not be lazy, and sit down on the job
Let me not sit down, while Satan goes and robs

Let me feel the desire within my heart
To tell others about Jesus from the very start

Let me be excited, and on fire once again
To tell others Jesus is with us until the end

To tell the lost that Jesus saves
To spread the word of the love He gave

Let me try and reach out to the lost
To tell them Jesus paid the ultimate cost

To pray that someone will accept Jesus today
Lord, lead and guide me in what I need to say

Luke 15:4
What man of you having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them doth not leave the ninety nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he is found?

Have you ever wondered what you would do, if you knew this was your last day on earth? If we knew that this is truly our last day, what would we do and say? If you are saved you wouldn't have to worry about your final destination. Could you imagine being lost, not knowing Jesus and know that you would die today? I would definitely want to accept Jesus into my heart. This type of event is happening everyday, except with one thing left out,the person dying lost had no idea they wouldn't live to see tomorrow.Unless we tell others about the good news of God's only Son, many people will be lost forever. Let us share Jesus with everyone we encounter. God will rejoice over those who accept Him.

God Seeks the Lost

God is seeking His lost sheep
He wants them in His fold, their souls to keep

God wants the lost to be saved
To experience the love that Jesus gave

So many are dying and they are lost
In hell their souls will pay the cost

Let us get busy and tell everyone about God's only Son
That someone will be saved, let God's will be done

So many people are dying lost every single day
Let us not be guilty of not telling them about Jesus along the way

Let us spread the news of Jesus' love, and hope the lost come to the realization
If they don't accept Jesus, hell will be their final destination

Matthew 5:16 (King James Version)

16.Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Many times in our life, we let burdens and trials get us down. That is when we become a poor witness. We may become so consumed by own problems, that we say and do things that normally we would not do. What happens to me many times, I focus on all the problems at one time. I try to find a way to handle everything, which is totally impossible. While I am trying to find a way to fix things, I forget to consult God. If we would leave all things with Him, we could let our let shine every hour of every day. Let us make it our mission in life to let our light shine daily, so that some one may see it burn brightly. If we leave our problems with God, then He will show us what He can do daily. Then we can share with others what God has done in our life, and tell them He can do the same for them. We must trust and keep the faith, that God will answer our prayers. I can not remember one time that God has failed to provide and answer our prayers. All of our worry is in vain, we just waste time when we worry. So let us focus on letting our light shine for God, and let Him have the load of burdens that make our light burn dim. He can and will fix all things, He has never failed us in the past.

Father, I give my burdens and problems to You
I want to clear the way, so my light can shine for You

I want You to be the One I consult when things are a mess
You can fix all things, when You take care of things I am blessed

Father, show us what we need to do each day
Take our hand and guide us, show us the way

We want to let our light shine bright
So others can see it day and night

Father, Thank You for fixing our car
It runs on prayer and by Your amazing power

You fixed our lawn mower and let it continue to run
Father, we ask You to fix things and by Your power it is done

Thank You Father, for all the blessings that You freely give
We want to give You all the praise and glory as long as we live

Exodus 20:15
Thou shalt not steal.

A little boy brought a classic Nascar model car to school for show and tell. All the class thought it was so cool, one little boy liked it so well he put it in his jacket to take home. The teacher found it when the rightful owner discovered it was missing. When confronted the little boy confessed that he took it, but was going to return it the next day. He only wanted to play with it for a while. Just like this example we are not to take things that belong to others. If we want something we need to work really hard and save for it. We are to respect others property and not steal. We cannot and should not take anything that is not ours. That is one of God's commandments. Let us always be true to all of God's commandments and never take anything that belongs to someone else.

Only What Is Yours

Never take anything that doesn't belong to you
Keep God's commandments in all that we do

Never take anything that is not rightfully yours
Keep God's commandments, focus on Heaven's shores

Thou shalt not steal God did say
Only receive things in an honest way

Let us follow God's commandment's and never steal
It is one of God's laws, always be honest in all your deals
