Welcome to the randomness, silliness, craziness, and all-around tomfoolery – what a great word that isn't used nearly enough – that is my blog. Don't get me wrong, it isn't always silly and crazy. Sometimes it's serious or sad but, more often than not, it's comical. Nonetheless, it is always entertaining. I try to see the fun in life. I'll add to it as much as I can so make sure you check back often. *Cool* Feel free to leave a comment or review to let me know you stopped by. *Wink*

I tell it like it is, or the way I think it is. If you don't get offended very easily, then you've come to the right blog. All are welcome. The fun is free! *Wink*

My life is an open book blog. Hilarity and chaos ensue...

Day 10 Prompt for the "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUSOpen in new Window.: You are being driven around by the worst driver ever.

Ugh! I’m fairly certain we all have a horror story about bad drivers. My story took place a very long time ago. My friend, Stacie, had picked me up at my parent’s house. She’d been driving for a year and had had several accidents that we all loved to tease her about. Anyway, I still got into her car. I was a fearless teenager, so why not? I don’t even know where we were going. Probably the mall. That’s what teenagers do. It was pouring rain. Stacie didn’t come to a complete stop at a stop sign and a car came and slammed into us. On my side of the car. It blew out my right shoulder. Cracked my head on the windshield. I almost went through the windshield, actually. I ended up having my shoulder reconstructed and my friend turned in her driver’s license. Literally. The very next day, she went to the DMV and handed her driver’s license in. She told them that, ā€œshe almost killed her best friend, so she had no right driving.ā€ She got it back a year later and was a much better driver after that. I guess she just needed that year to grow up a little more. Since those days, NJ has actually made it harder to get your license and you can’t get it until you’re 18 now. If those had been the rules back then, maybe the accident wouldn’t have happened. Then again, who knows? Life is a crapshoot. You get what you get.

You guys can probably tell that I’m just not feeling it today. Sorry. I had the flu a few weeks ago. I think I mentioned that. The doctor said the cough would linger for several weeks before it finally went away. The problem is that it’s getting worse. I’m coughing so much that I’ve lost my voice and I have a horrible headache. I apologize for the short, lackluster entry. I know I’ve got to get back to some comments and read other blogs too. I’ll do it tomorrow. For now, I’m off to bed.

The one great thing is that I’m going to see Chris again on Thursday night. I can’t wait to see him again! *Bigsmile*
