My Search

I

Into the mystic realm,
I let my mind take flight,
Over stone strewn highways,
I search the endless night.

I was the Wanderer,
Looking for a goal,
And the Seeker,
Searching for my soul.

I walked the roads of idle fancy,
Paths of material delight,
Stumbling over stones of vain imaginings,
In my search for the light.

A voice deep within me cried:
"Here doesn't lay your goal,
Upon these darkened pathways,
You'll never find your sou."

II

Into the mystic realm,
Again my mind took flight,
Over well traveled highways,
I search the misty twilight.

I was a Seeer,
Seeking an unknown goal,
And a Stranger,
To my own soul.

In this realm of half-light,
I strolled the roads of tradition,
Picking my way carefully,
Through the shadows of superstition.

Still from within came the cry:
"Not in this realm is your goal,
Upon these half-lit pathways,
You'll never find your soul"

III

Into the mystic realm,
Again I took flight,
And walked the paths,
Where God has shed His light.

I walked the hallowed highways,
Trod by the Prophets of old,
Strolled the ancient paths,
Strewn with nuggets of pure gold.

This is the wondrous realm,
Where all paths become one,
This is the glorious land,
Illuminated by God's sun.

Through the Word of God,
I have found my soul,
In the Messenger for this age,
I have found my goal.

Power Within
December 27, 2018 at 7:37pm
Power Within Fear makes a tight knot in my belly, helpless I cower within my self-made prison unable to overcome my own weaknesses. I'm not alone created in the image of God the power to overcome is within. Each of His Manifestations have given the same advice, in different words. Each has come to help humanity evolve; to help us step beyond the prison of self, and overcome our own weaknesses. The voices of God's Chosen Ones echo down through history repeat... [Read more]
And Evening And Morning Were The First Day
December 27, 2018 at 5:35pm
And Evening And Morning Were The First Day Is consciousness inherent in the Universe? The Hubble Space Telescope can't answer this quest directly; however, it can tell us if planetary formation is a consequence of star formation. We can only answer this question through our personal relationship with God. Was cosmos created for the purpose of producing life? To answer this question we must go directly to religion, and meditate upon the Words of God. All the... [Read more]
Our Souls in Danger
December 27, 2018 at 4:33pm
Our Souls In Danger Hate puts our souls in in danger! It doesn't matter, who we hate, or why we hate. The act of hatred itself endangers humanity, and causes us to disobey God's command to love. Hatred blinds us to the image of God reflected in the human spirit. It causes us to despise our differences rather then appreciate them. It generates fear that segregates humanity behind artificial barriers. {dropnote:"Poet's Note:"}I wrot this in ... [Read more]
Hymns of Peace
December 27, 2018 at 1:44pm
Hymns of Peace The hymns of peace ring out today, From desert sands and city towers, They call mankind to a new way. While nations at their war game splay, Displaying military powers, The hymns of peace ring out today. New weapons nations use today, That plant the atoms terrible flowers, And call mankind to a new way. As hate grows stronger day by day, Beneath its shadow humanity cowers, The hymns of peace ring out today. The prejudices of yesterday , Grow more evil wit... [Read more]

Your Perscription Is Ready
December 26, 2018 at 1:06pm
Your Prescription Is Ready Every age has its own unique remedy, creaked for its specific disease! The sickness of the present requires a different prescription, than the illnesses of the past. The divine physician come, brought with Him the medicine of unity-- the rose flavored sap of the Tree of Life. In its pain humanity rejected Him, as it rejected His predecessors; Christ, Muhammad, Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, and Moses. Humanity rejected Him and in so doing i... [Read more]

For These I Pray For those who say: "My religion is the only way!" Who do not see God's mighty hand, In the religions of their fellowman. For these I pray. For those who say: "I am a member of the upper class!" Who believe themselves of the chosen few, That know precisely what to do. For these I pray. For those who say: "My race is the super race!" Colors of the Rose: A Metaphor

Colors of the Rose: A Metaphor How came about the colors of the rose? When conceived in Eden there was only one pigment to offset its verdant leaves, and no thorns to scar the hands of love. How came about the colors of the rose: The shades of red, yellow, brown, black, and white, that reflect evolution's light; How came the barbs that scar the hands of love? How came about the colors of the rose: Created to absorb the light of God, a black rose bloomed beneath the firmam... [Read more]

August Resurrection: Meditation on a Hot August Night

August Resurrection: Meditation on a Hot August Night On hot August nights the humidity increases, as clouds gather above the valley of the shadow of death. On hot August nights the dead lie, sweltering in the crypt of insistent-self, waiting for the finger of God to flash across the charcoal sky. On hot August nights light veins flowing between heaven and earth strike the ego-self, stripping the spirit of Satan's armor. On hot August nights the shocking power of ... [Read more]

The Centennial Commemoration of Baha'u'llah's Ascension United in the love of God's Glory, we gather in the presence of the Beloved, to commemorate His ascension into the Abha Paradise. Flute music, like water from the fountain of life that bubbles up in the Garden of Ridvan, reverberates through the sanctuary. Roses, red as the dawn of a new day, perfume the air and lend their taste to the prayers ascending to the throne of the Blessed Beauty. White can... [Read more]
