A blog, generally about music, usually for projects hosted by Jeff. I may also write about the 48-Hour Media Prompt Challenge if I don't feel like writing a story or poem inspired by the given song. Other bits of poetry or different topics of discussion might end up here as well.
I have no secular point of view on this subject. I love you used the reference from Ephesians. I am learning to enjoy other people's gardens or just what was left the way God planted it in the first place. What I do know is I love the way you write. I can read your words any time any where with smiles, tears, laughter and joy. You have a beautiful soul!
Personally speaking, I do not believe in the popular conception of alien life. Though angels, cherubim and seraphim seem like a different kind of alien. No one saw a flying saucer before the age of Sci Fi, before that it was all about angels, demons and ghosts... Scientifically speaking you mentioned a whole bunch of God incidences which make a possible context for life on this planet but then so also the Drake equation ( counting alien civilisations) assumes that the spontaneous emergence of life ( abiogenesis) occurs in nature and without Divine assistance. There is zero evidence for that making the discussion of alien life a theological one. But the bible is silent on this one and our travels so far into space have revealed only magnificent desolation.
A very impressive journey! These kind of prompts are the best way to learn about fellow members.
I love the way you set each bullet in a very visual way. I'm extremely impressed with your 10th bullet. I don't know anyone else with that level of commitment to those contests. Congrats on your successes.
I love how you frame this whole experience 😻! I'm eager to listen to this,as one who has enjoyed most genres. You pulled me into your world and saw and heard through your eyes and ears. Very awesome Angel as usual 😉🦋💖💐🎹🎻🎶🎵.
Write ✍️ on!
It is getting more difficult to know if what someone wrote was really theirs - like with so many things these days there is too often that question of 'true' or 'not true' and that is such a shame - and kind of unnerving. It does cause distrust. I have seen pieces on this site where I wondered, but it can be impossible to prove. I don't know why anyone would want to post AI items here or place them in contests because any success they'd have they'd know is fake, but people can be strange. I'll just stick to my own words, for better or worse.
So many great discussions about cheese. Just a hint from personal experience: don't microwave the individual Mac and cheese cups without water and with the cheese packet still in the cup. It will light on fire. Yeah. Oops. hehe
Amethyst Autumn Angel and Kåre เลียม Enga - Packing's not an issue. Shorts/T-shirts/flip-flops. Haven't had a day below 89 (102 wet-bulb) in two months. Sunscreen is highly recommended. I have a spare room with a private bath, 15 feet from the pool. Let me know well in advance (at least 24 hours )
My second choice for "The Soundtrack of Your Life" is a song released by Christian artists For King and Country in 2022 as a single off their What Are We Waiting For album. Relate crossed over from spiritual into secular pop playlists shortly after its release, and last year I heard it several times at McDonald's.
I remember when I first noticed it a few years ago I wasn't particularly impressed. It seemed rather milquetoast, watered down to appeal to a wider audience with a message already common in pop music.
After a while, though, it grew on me; at one point I heard it on a secular station in passing and felt bad when I did not recognize their voices right away. I'm usually excellent at spotting the voices of artists I'm familiar with, and I always wonder how I can call myself a fan of 4K+C if I am only familiar with a handful of their work. So I sat down with Relate and added it to my personal playlist to get to know them better.
It has a simple rhetorical theme, showcasing the brothers' signature calm, clear voices. They don't strike exaggerated high notes, maintaining an even tone throughout. This is one of the things I appreciate about 4K+C.
