Director Clavell rubbed at his temples. Today was the day his academy would be accepting what could be the most troublesome student in its entire history. Of course, Florian's behavior was that of a model student, but that meant little when the entire academy could fit inside his navel with room to spare. Still, every child deserved a chance at an education, and Clavell would not let Florian's circumstances tear that chance away from him if he could help it.
With that in mind, Clavell had put the academy's resources to work finding pokemon affected by the Dynamax phenomenon that could make good partners for Florian. Luckily, they managed to find a Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly that were all at sizes that Florian could see! Now it was finally time to head out and let him choose one.

Florian eagerly waited in the South Paldean Sea for his pokemon to arrive. Sure it would be difficult to go on a pokemon journey in a region that would be decimated by an errant sneeze, but he'd figure something out! He smiled down at Cabo Poco, trusting his mom was watching him, before spotting another (much, much smaller) Dynamaxed person! This must be the one he was told about that would be bringing him his pokemon! His eyes widened as he heard Director Clavell's voice in his head (he must be using a Psychic-type, Florian thought), giving him the usual welcome speech to the academy.
