Wow this was great. Brought a tear to my eyes thinking about my Pop. I have a story in my port that I think you might like "SUMMER OF 55" it is in my contest winners folder.

In the last ten years Meg has found the food is not so great.

All that fat has turned into a body that now makes the boys hearts ache.

That old peg leg is now encrusted with pearls, gold and gems.

When she dances around a room all the girls wish that they had such limbs.

Meg is no longer mad at her folks for all the pain and tears.

Because now all the boys would give their lives just to buy her a beer.

This story should be put into COUNTRY MOMS HONORING THE VETS CONTEST.

When I read this it gives me hope that America will be able to over come what some are trying to do from within.
