I found this buried in my Notifications. You've made s many holiday Word Search puzzles, even I haven't caught up with them, yet!
This was so beautiful to listen to. The voices of Pentatonix just penetrate the senses in such a profound way. They are such a talented A Capella group.
Thank you for included the video to enjoy while solving the puzzle.
This puzzle is 17 word puzzle based on "Mary, Did You Know?" It was a smooth and easy-ish puzzle to uncover. There were a couple little trappings of a smaller word within a bigger word that one needs to be attentive to in order to find and shade over again. However, I've learned to love the search for these hidden treasures.
Parting Thoughts:
I have really enjoyed finding your Holiday Word Search puzzles. It's been a fabulous month of celebrating Christmas and the holidays.
Conclusion:
Wonderful!
Until next time--puzzle on!

Well, can you believe the year is almost over? So what do you do to bring on the celebration of a New Year? You make me this Word Search puzzle!
What I like:
I like that you anticipate what I might want in a puzzle to really end out the old year. "Auld Land Syne" video and all!
The Puzzle consisted of 19 words to uncover, related to that song.
Observation:
I did uncover all the words. This has happened another time with someone else's puzzle, but the tile did not turn green when all the words were uncovered. The last word I found was "mine." It turned blue when I highlighted it, but the tile didn't turn green. Oh, the mysteries of life and puzzles, I guess!
Parting Thoughts:
This was a fun and relaxing puzzle (until the last word debacle,) to help bring in the cheer of a New Year. Thank you!
Conclusion:
Good job! Happy 2025!
Until next time--puzzle on!

On this Christmas Day ... I want to send much honor to the spirit of your writing over the years on WDC. You were a beloved member and fantastic writer. Your poetry always deserves a revisit.
This particular poem says a great dela about this community and how it draws writers back home to WDC.
Its simple beauty, lovely flow, and bits of your talent that shine through, perfectly.
I just wanted to spend a moment here in your portfolio after I spotted your poetry on the sidebar of the page as Sponsored item. I got chills seeing yours there. It was only right to visit on this Christmas Day, also first day of Hanukkah!
With admiration for all you've done when you were here ...
Of course the 12 Days of Christmas is stuck in my head. You know something? Years ago when I lived in CA, our family and friend's family went to his cabin up in Ukiah. It's a lovely, rustic place. However, we decided to grab dinner at a well-know Italian restaurant in the are. Since it was Christmastime, they had festive songs and music going on. Music happened to be done by a blind accordion player. She was good. Everyone got to sing along. Of course, this son was playing.
Every time I hear this song, I can't help but think back to that time we spent, with both families of children having a great time.
Naturally, the puzzle contained 12 words related to the song.
This was a lovely, relaxing puzzle.
Thanks for the memories!
Until next time--puzzle on!
Merry Christmas, to you and yours!

I'm so happy you jumped in and created another Word Search for the Holidays! I love your theme of all the different gifts that can be given to friends and loved ones, not only for holiday giving, but for other occasions.
Your Puzzle:
25, wonderful, relaxing words to uncover. I felt like I was receiving the uncovered gift! The wine is definitely a lovely gift for the holidays.
'Tis the season for movies. I watch many of them leading up to Christmas. Many are classic favorites. And yes, Die Hard is a Christmas movie!!!
Parting Thoughts:
This is a delightful, festive puzzle that celebrates the gift of giving. It is what makes the season bright for those who receive them.
Thanks again!
And, Happy Holidays!

What Brought This Witch Here?
I saw this beautiful poem highlighted in the Poetry Newsletter, edited by Fyn. This was a wonderful choice to highlight, indeed!
Further Thoughts:
I loved that it had memories of years ago, when the children were young and made each Christmas that much more special. There's nothing like seeing Christmas through the eyes of a child.
Your poem was lovely, each line well-crafted to keep perfect rhyme to keep the rhythm smooth as silk. I enjoyed reading it once and then going back to it. It actually made my eyes misty because in my mind, I was picturing my children all those years ago. It's amazing how a snapshot of those times can just pop right into one's head when reading something nostalgic, such as this.
There was also a feeling of melancholy as the poem relates the kids have moved on with their own lives ... and took the cheap cologne with them! But I understand that image, well!
Parting Thoughts:
This was so beautifully related, the realism of it all touches the heart of parents whose children have grown and who find that little bit of sadness at a time of year where all the joy and laughter happened around their Christmas tree.
Conclusion:
I had to do this Word Search next because I love this Christmas song and especially Nat King Cole performing it in that sweet video. I loved the animation going on in the video as Nat sings the song.
The Puzzle:
The Word Search is 20 words, a good size puzzle with specific words of the song were woven within it. Of course listening to Nat King Cole made solving the puzzle that much more beautiful for this holiday Word Search.
Parting Thoughts:
I enjoyed this particular puzzle with that video addition. It brought me back to days of my youth and my mother and father listening to this as they prepared for aunts and uncles to join them that evening for their little weekend before-Christmas, Christmas party. The Christmas eve of course was always them and the many cousins together, descending on the grandparents' home for the Italian Christmas eve feast of fishes.
Conclusion:
Thanks for the memories!
Until next time--puzzle on!

Poor Grandma. She got run over by a reindeer. I guess no fun fruitcake moments at grandma's house, eh?
This is a modern-classic that kids find fun to sing . It is an irreverent song as far as any grandmother would say. However, grandmothers tend to be picked on in odd ways in songs and stories. Think about Little Red Riding Hood? That grandma got eaten by a wolf! But that's another story!
However, it does bring fun to the season, doesn't it?
This puzzle was 17 words pulled right from the famous song, which had its video included above the puzzle.
Observation:
If you look back at the puzzle, you'll notice the word "Grandpa" is repeated, thus making me feel that I got run over by a reindeer. The thing with the repetition, is ... you must be sure you uncovered the right one first. I found one, but it didn't uncover for me because it matched the second grandpa which I found later in another column.
Tricky, tricky, indeed! I don't know if that was done on purpose or not, but figured I'd mention it.
Parting Thoughts/Conclusion:
Aside from the double-take grandpa, this was a fun and fast puzzle to solve and sing to!
Good job!
Until next time--Puzzle on!

I was excited to see your new holiday Words Search puzzle advertised on the newsfeed, with my handle tagged!
Let's Jump Right In:
I guess you know I have a particular fondness to these puzzles, lately. This one really gave me many fun and festive words to sink my teeth into. All 25 of them. I loved how you wove in the traditional celebrations as well as the things kids love about it, hot chocolate, candy canes and snowmen.
More Fun to Share:
Singing carols, making merry and being all toasty and warm. I picture the fireplace and everyone sitting by it after hours of outdoor playing in the snow. This filled my mind with so many images from youth, and then when my children were little.
Parting Thoughts/Conclusion:
Thank you for creating this fun and memory making puzzle. I loved each and every bit of it. It was a medium difficulty to solve, but that was due to crossover words hiding and awaiting my second touch over them.
Great job!
Until next time--Puzzle on!

Okay this was pretty cool! I love how you wove-in Reindeer names with music, band members and instruments. It kept me busy for a bit.
I was trying to picture the reindeer playing instruments and crooning away. Hey, Santa ... we're with the band, dude!
This was quite inventive. I know it was part of a task to do at "12 Days Of Christmas 2024" However, you went above and beyond and created a word search for me to enjoy. That's a good thing!
Fun words search! Love the AI picture with the cello playing reindeer!
Great job!

Review!
I found this delightful Christmas story while perusing the Browse By Genre, Comedy page. I was specifically looking for some holiday humor. This fit the bill nicely.
The Build up:
Indeed a box held what would inevitably become a fabulous Christmas gift for a young girl. Of course, we readers were unaware of what felt so trapped within the box. (Could it be an Elf on a Shelf?)
There were some scary thoughts shared from the gift inside, expressing its displeasure at being locked up in a cell with no known reason why.
The Conclusion:
Such sweetness comes on Christmas Day! Nothing like a soft and frisky little puppy to delight a youngster.
Okay, the tree incident? Totally forgivable!
This little story will be highlighted in next week's Comedy Newsletter. Merry Christmas!
Thank you for calling my attention to another beautiful holiday Word Search puzzle.
What I loved:
I loved this puzzle with words pulled right from the angelic Christmas carol, "Do You Hear What I Hear." That's great as it is. But then, you added the link to the song being sung by Bing Crosby. I nearly broke down just listening to it. So very beautiful!
I got chills up my spine listening to the song. You certainly know how to bring on the old time holiday cheer with Bing and this beautiful song.
I Did Hear, and I Was Touched ... Almost by an Angel!
It reminds me of choir in the old days back at the Catholic school. That was one of the songs we sand during Christmastime.
Parting Thoughts:
This is a perfect Christmas Word Search song to uncover. Again, the song plays out in my head as I uncover the words.
It was wonderful, joyful, and so appreciated!
Until Next time--puzzle on!

Thank you for creating another beautiful Christmas Word Search puzzle for me to solve.
Beloved Christmas Song:
"I'll be home for Christmas," is a wonderful, heartwarming song that promises loved ones they will be together for this important holiday where families get together and celebrate Christmas.
Many times it is someone in the Service who gets a pass for the Christmas holiday. That's always a beautiful thing.
Further Thoughts:
Your puzzle was a quick word search that again places a song in someone's head. I know I sang it while solving it. It's a good thing no one can hear me sing.
Final Thoughts:
I appreciate those of you who catch my request for these holiday puzzles. It's such a festive time of year and I love celebrating all the goodness, joy, and sharing of warmth with those who respond with some very creative holiday word searches.
Conclusion:
Wonderful subject matter. It conjures pictures in my mind of families together celebrating the joy!
This was a joy to do!

I shouldn't have started this Word Search on an empty stomach. Yet, here I am! I spotted some of my favorite spices Many of which end up in delicious holiday treats.
Celebrating Traditions:
I love that your puzzle includes so many good things that come right out of the kitchen. I'm sort of a Kitchen Witch, there.
When I see "Molasses," I see gingerbread! (Oh, it's been a while since I made that since the kids are grown and on their own.
When I see cocoa at Christmastime, I see a candy cane as a stirrer and tiny marshmallows. (Or/and whipped cream!)
Over All Taste of the Holidays:
Your puzzle consisted of 21 words that would delight a baker, for the creations to be made for all to enjoy.
It was a fun Word Search to uncover. Now I'm going to plan a meal to stop my tummy from crying for mercy!
Great puzzle!

Review!
I am also reviewing your entry as a judge at "The Bard's Hall Contest" Thank you for entering our November Thanksgiving dinner comedy story.
Initial Thoughts:
Once I read the line about deep frying the turkey, I knew things weren't going to go well!
Further Thoughts:
Your story showed how bringing family together for a big holiday event always leads to laughter. The family was lovable. And very real!
Observations:
"how long Hank thought it would be before the turrkey was done." Got an extra "t" in that turkey. Probably stands for "terrifried."
Further Thoughts:
The flow of the story was smooth. I liked the little thoughts from the past when Amy heard a familiar song on the radio that took her back to the years of their youth.
Were the Rules followed?
I see this story is a modification from November, 2016.
Under: RULES FOR ALL OUR CONTESTS: All entries must be written new for the contest unless otherwise stated.
Parting Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this story. The ending was a blast! Almost literally in that case!!!
Yeah, I haven't bought myself a turkey fryer, yet. Perhaps one day.

Review!
I'm also reviewing your entry as a judge at "The Bard's Hall Contest" Thank you for entering our Nvember prompt, Thanksgiving with the family, comedy.
Initial Thoughts:
A quick glance let me know this was going to be a lively time at the Thanksgiving table.
Further Thoughts:
Kids say and do the darnedest things. The dialogue was appropriate to the subject matter. Siblings often show their dismay for one another. Throw in the gas machine at the table and a sister with a sensitivity to the aroma, you've got a family humor fest beginning.
Observations/Suggestions:
The format could use a bit more in spacing and font size. Even I, with my new cataract free eyes found it a little straining to read as one long wall of words in smaller font.
Parting Thoughts:
You followed the contest rules and produced a humorous story about a family around the Thanksgiving table.
The back and forth as I said above is lively and realistic. The Dad jokes included, was a good touch.

Review!
Initial Thoughts:
I found this very memorable, 9-11 poem on the random Read & Review. It brings so many memories of that day back to life in seconds. What a trauma that day was on our country.
Further Thoughts:
Your poem laid it out, smoothly, evenly, well-thought out and with a reverence that we've grown to expect of that day.
I liked:
"torrid collapse" "tearful tallies" "Thwarting their captors with purpose and valor" These words were well-chosen and perfectly woven within the lines of the poem. Just reading these words tells me a huge story of the towers collapse and the brave Flight 93 people who prevented further loss of lives from happening in DC.
Parting Thoughts:
This was a raw reminder and yet a beautiful tribute to all those innocent souls who died in the 9-11 tragedy.

Review!
I found your Word Search puzzle on the Browse By Type, click. It looked new and fun, so I decided to stop by and give it a try!
Overall Thoughts:
I absolutely loved this whole Blooping puzzle! It was so much fun trying to search out all those bloop a lot words. All 25 of them. And, you came up with some great bloopers!
Further Thoughts:
The puzzle was mostly a quick find for each of the words to uncover. Of course there were the words within words that had to be double checked. I had to smile as I uncovered them. This was a real brain treat! It's the first blooped-up puzzle I have ever tackled.
Conclusion:
I'm thrilled I found this fun creative and unique puzzle.

Review!
I found your lovely poem on the Random Read and Review. And what a lovely surprise it was.
Thoughts & Impressions:
Your poem is beautiful and art itself. It's fresh and lively. I love the way it made me see many colors as my world opened up, as well.
Impressionists art is quite stunning in its own right. I believe there was something so special that these artists could imagine in their minds and convert it to canvas.
I happen to have a print of Monet's Water Lilies. It was a gift, and, it is well-loved.
I believe these artists were a true blessing and way ahead of their time. They were not readily appreciated when they painted in an Impressionistic style.
Further Thoughts:
Your poem is lush and colorful in its enthusiasm to thank them for what they left behind for us to enjoy. It is brilliantly expressed through each of the lines. I loved the refrain lines. It made the artists feelings come to life.
Conclusion:
I thought I'd stop by to give this wonderfully revamped Best of the Rest forum. I remember when it was from the Sandbox. Now it's from the Bee Hive. All good things come from bees. Well, except for stings.
Further Thoughts:
This up and coming new contest in & Out to post whichever contest is running for the month. This month it's creating polls. I see a few entries already. I will have to check out those polls, soon.
The in & out page itself is colorful, warm and inviting. I love the graphics used. The rules are straightforward and eas to understand. You clearly show the prizes to be won.
Parting Thoughts:
A fine display of exclusive MBs is portrayed at the bottom of the page for everyone to see. It does put out a little honey for them to sweeten the pot. . My favorite bees are Smiley and L'il Bad. They are adorable.
Well, it appears you're back in the game with a great new Best of the Rest contest. I like it!
I was curious about this so stopped in for a bite of candy. A recipe, indeed for Whale Candy. Sounds fatty squishy with a bit of smelly and crunchy.
Everything that a candy could hold . And more! In fact too much more.
What my poor brain eyes read and saw at the end. SHOCKING! 🤪
However the horrible, terrible bad poem did earn it's one ⭐
It also got the honor of me typing this review while on the road southbound. Oh my, I think I just passed a sewage treatment plant. Funny how it fits perfectly for reading this poem.
Well, carry on. Perhaps dig a huge deep hole to bury whale cookies
Don't forget to burn the recipe while you're at it!
Thank you for calling my attention to this delightfully humorous Thanksgiving Word Search puzzle!
My Thoughts Overall:
I knew I would love this when I saw the Jack Prelutsky poem above the tile. This really perked me up after a long day of travel. You added this humor and matched a puzzle to go along.
More Thoughts After All:
Your puzzle consisted of 12 words. It was a welcomed treat for my brain tonight as it was a simple solve. As I was solving it I couldn't help but smile, because the poem came to life in my mind's eye.
Concluding Thoughts Ending All:
You have no idea what a pleasure this was to play. I had been on the road for many hours. At one point I thought I could try to solve it on my phone at a rest stop. But I wasn't able to solve the puzzle on the phone. It didn't work for me. I saved it for now.
Great job! It was well worth the wait!

I came across your Christmas themed Word Search puzzle on the Browse By Type option at the side bar on the left. Yours was right on top, so I decided to tackle it.
Overall Thoughts:
Although I have been solving Thanksgiving Puzzles recently, I just couldn't resist doing a Christmas one at this time. It raises the spirits and joy of the holidays ahead.
I loved this puzzle for so many reasons!
It does have all those words we associate with Christmas such as Santa, Mrs Claus, Frosty, Rudolph, various gift wrap and ornaments to name a few.
However ...you have woven in beautifully the true reason for the season. I love that you included the more Biblical side with Jesus Christ, and the Three Wise Men, Holy Night and family of course.
Parting Thoughts:
Your puzzle contained 25 words to uncover on the tile. Most of them were easily found. A couple small words hid a little such as star, jolly and gifts. But I found them all and solved the puzzle.
Suggestion:
I think this puzzle would be more attractive to players if you added an intro above the puzzle or an image of Christmas. I mean the title will attract those in the mood for holiday joy. But, an image when the page is opened will add to that joy.
I did not rate down for this. I'm here for the game. It's merely a suggestion. The puzzle was perfect with its mix of words to uncover.
Conclusion:
This was very enjoyable. It's a feel good puzzle that reminds us Christmas is just around the corner.
Until next time--puzzle on!

Thank you for your Thanksgiving/Autumn Word Search Puzzle. You know how much I love them.
My Thoughts:
I enjoyed the blend of Puritans, Mayflower, Indigenous and all the good and thankful things that they represent.
I think it's a wonderful idea to place a Bible quote in the introduction as you suggested above.
The puzzle consisted of 15 words to uncover. What I have been trying to do with these puzzles is to uncover the shorter words first so they don't hide to deeply in the puzzle. Therefore, "pie" was my first find to get out of the way.
Further Thoughts:
The beauty of autumn comes through with leaves. Living in New England during the foliage peak is breathtaking. Just mentioning "leaves" brought me magically back to those days with my trees going through the changing colors. Of course, now that, that part of autumn is over, I start my packing to go South.
Blessed indeed. I feel that way as Thanksgiving approaches. The warmth of the season with laughter, sharing a table with loved ones and friends --it's a beautiful thing.
Conclusion:
Lovely puzzle! Thank ou for bringing my attention to it.

Thank you for creating this wonderful Thanksgiving Word Search puzzle and replying to my request on the Newsfeed. I appreciate it. As you may know from Halloween, I've been searching for time of year type puzzles. Thanks giving is one of the best holidays there is. It's a time for family, friends, food and thanks for all those blessings.
Further Thoughts:
A few of your favorite things do cross over with some of my favorite things. I mean the usual table fare, a turkey, gravy, stuffing, yams and potatoes are traditional favs. However, I like your additions of spiral ham, mac and cheese, casseroles ... it seems I'm not the only one who loves Honeybaked Ham, shop.
Parting Thoughts:
I love your Thanksgiving word search menu. It's difficult working through uncovering these delicious words without getting hungry. I picture a beautiful Thanksgiving table with all the finest laid out to bring a festive feeling to it.
The puzzle itself consisted of 25 delicious words having to do with the THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY. (Sorry, I hit cap lock by a slip of finger. It looks pretty, though, so I'll leave it there. ) Of course, there was the little trap with cornbread being uncovered early on it the solving, since "corn" was a stand alone word as well and one needs to be aware that it is hidden within the already solved cornbread. Must hit that word corn twice to make it stick.
Conclusion:
I really enjoyed your puzzle. Thanks again for creating it for me to enjoy.
Good job!
Until next time--puzzle on!
