Just inside the kingdom’s eastern border

The lands just to the west of the Kingdom’s Eastern Mountain Range are skmetimes referred to as the Wild Lands. They’re not lawless, per se. Their inhabitants, though, are nonhumans who enjoy a certain level of autonomy in the Kingdom, and prefer humans to remain clear of their territory.

That’s one of the reasons why Trigh Rockbones is with your party. Your destination, the Gormyrkt Forest is within the territory roamed by the nomadic plains giants.

On the southern side of the forest is the burial ground for the Kingdom’s greatest plains giants. Trigh will tell you it is the spirits of the great ancestors that keep the dark things in the Gormyrkt Forest from emerging.

Whatever is in the forest or keeps it from exiting is a matter of speculation. But most plains giants will not enter the Gormyrkt Forest willingly.

You six, however, plan to do so willingly. Tamra has a rough map she’s “acquired” that shows where a treasure trove is located. A treasure trove that might include one of the five parts of Dangor’s Staff of Creation. Specifically, the treasure trove is rumored to hold the _____________ part.
